Add settings for maxmove and vspeed

 Share

Recommended Posts

In game,by pressing ctrl+shift+k we will open the console, which allows us to modify the vspeed and maxmove values

I suggest, that instead of having to open the console and type in the commands,we should have new settings sliders in the settings button, for Turret rotation camera sensitivity and Hull rotation camera sensitivity

It would make it much easier for us to configure the game for maximum comfort

What about storing the current settings of console parameters as a set; you might store 3 sets; and you can choose the one you like via the settings menu?

Then you configure everything you need in the console, use a "Store=name_tag2" command, and in the settings menu you can choose from name_tag1, name_tag2 and name_tag3.

Nice idea. Sometimes, open the console and write the code takes me too much time, and the enemy takes advantage of that.

Why do you even need to use that in a regular battle? It makes it harder to play.

Good point. But, I've been in situations such as: I created a battle and joined in it, and obviously there is nobody yet; so I got bored, and I decided to prove these settings, I opened the console, wrote the code and so... and when I already did it, an enemy joins, and as I usually play in small maps (Duel, Island) the enemy reaches me, kills me and takes advantage in the match (depending of its mode).

Sometimes, it comes handy to do that, especially around tight corners. For example, if you go beside the bridge's edge in Zone, you cannot see anything, so at that time, using this code allows us to see. It comes handy in battles.

Not really :D For Magnum these camera settings are very very  helpful for aiming.

Magnum didn't even came out when I said that.

But still, I can set high view camera in my base if I am a defender in maps like Serpuhov, Brest, Kungur etc. And I can get a good view of the area. So I would be able to defend better.

PS: But not all the time though

The old default settings were much better, when the camera had the same rotation as the turret/hull

Bump B)

On a serious note, I do like this idea. Typing in the code takes a frustratingly long time and this would be a good shortcut solution. I just doubt that it'll be implemented tbh.

just have damn command ready in clipboard

That would actually take me longer, minimize Tanki, copy paste, minimize again, copy and paste again, rather than just typing it in the console
