Make Striker's laser different from Shaft's

No, this is a bad idea. The system how it is working is already different. After that the rocket launcher (sttiker) is also a gun what can fire maximum projectiles on high distance. Then you need to have the red laser.

Strikers usually stay in sniping mode for a long time, while Snipers do their job in a second ...

Ah, yes please. This would be good. Lets say you are crossing an open place and then that laser comes, it confuses you. You dont know to go faster (striker), or wait to be destroyed (shaft). Anyway, good idea. I say put a glow around strikers laser :P. Thanks!

Shafts and Strikers most of the time are in non-PRO battles. So, if a Shaft is aiming you, you should activate DA and a Repair kit if you want to survive; on the other way around, if a Striker is aiming you, you should only go away from its laser by activating the Speed Boost.

I have seen some Shafts make their lasers look like Striker's.

 

I just thought of something...

 

Since Shaft's laser is actually just an indicator, make it look doted, like this: .................... or this: ------------------

 

And the same should be done for Magnum's indicator, but that's another topic...............................................................

We know these two turrets work differently. So, I think the laser should also be different among these turrets.

 

Why? It's due to the strategies. If you are aimed by Striker, you can simply move away from the laser, and so, make yourself harder to shot. But if you are aimed by Shaft, it's most likely you'll die.

 

I have had some experiences which lead me to suggest it.

It seems to me that you can see a stricker is aiming at you as the laser is unstable.

Anyhow, a shaft or a striker: I move away from any laser if it's a striker I have some chance to survive.  :)

Although I may understand the point somewhere, I don't see any major need on working on this.

Me not :P they way the laser moves, I can tell immediately if it's a Shaft or a Striker.

Yes a striker's laser is very erratic and moves much faster due to the absence of a scope. A person can turn the turret much faster that shaft even when its not scoping.

how exactly do u propose to make these lasers different? laser colour? well think practically, most real weapons have a laser and it is red, yes, we dont have different coloured lasers for every type of weapon im sure.

well if they copy / follow tanki X then it would be in there turret ammunition section where you can buy with crystals the four  different colours you want to use . for rico we have , coral / golden / frozen / acid .

Blue laser beams for strikers in DM battles?  I know that some ppl can tell the difference between shaft and striker laser beams by their movement. But it would be a nice thing to have.

Yeah highly agree with this idea and I think it also has a decent chance of being possibly implemented. As you get more experienced, you can make assumptions from the behaviour and speed of the Striker laser but that isn't necessarily reliable as I've been having major glitches with Shafts lately, where their laser follows me past buildings but they can't hit me. Yes, I know lag is to blame but still. The only issue with this problem is determining which colours to go with. Since Striker only needs one colour, I'd probably go with yellow or green.

Another issue would be that technically you will need two colours for striker too for team battles just how shaft has a red and blue respective of the team colour, adding a different colour or patterned laser i still believe is a pointless idea, either way, a shaft will charge up and hit while striker will lock on and full salvo, the end result, you still have to hide to dodge it, what is this unnecesary fuss over lasers?! it's not as if snipers and handguns have different coloured lasers irl to show that one is a handgun and other isn't, key lies in the targetted tankers anticipation, and it shouldnt be much of a worry, after a few seconds you will know who or what that laser is, next time you will be prepared, tanki battles are where you must learn and adapt to the surroundings...

I have faced both, I have had no issue whatsoever with strikers and/or shaft.

The projectile should fly like those of Striker.

 

100m high damage range and 100m low damage range after it.

 

High impact for high damage range with high recoil.

 

Faster reloads.

 

Imagine flipping bunch of Wasps.

With shaft I don't expect to flip wasps, I expect to kill them all, lets not turn shaft into a shot mode of striker now -.-
