Well, I think it's a long-overdue update. It's impossible to buy M1 kits at low ranks without buying, as the paints and modules bring them up to ludicrous prices.

 

But this will be really beneficial for new players, and make achieving better equipment a less-daunting prospect at low ranks.

Changes to microupgrades for hulls M0 and turrets M0:

Number of steps decreased from 50 to 10;
Total step cost halved and equals to the cost of M1 modification of the item;
Speed up cost is 2 times higher than step cost on each step;
The aggregate value of step and speed up remains the same;


These changes apply only to M0 modifications of all hulls and turrets.
All existing and completed M0 microupgrades will be converted.

What ping do you guys even get all the way in N.A. because all the servers are in Europe/Asia?

PING isn't usually an issue, although it is sometimes. we do get lags a lot where all the players freeze up for several seconds, and then everything happens at once in a split second.

 

I was under the impression, that the PING would be roughly the same for all players on the same server. am I wrong here?

Your PING is basically the speed which the data is sent from your computer, to the server, and back to your computer. People with different internet speeds and connections can have different PING's. It is not related to the server, unless its on Tanki's side.

 

The MU update seems interesting, easy to MU to an M1 at a low rank now. :LOL:

It's just for M0s. It's not as if you're getting M2 or M3 Smoky 15 ranks early. Although honestly I wish they would apply this update to higher tier guns too, the step cost prices are just ridiculous. Show us higher ranks some love. :)

Well I think the 10-step times will be a key factor. If you speed up all 10 MU steps you end up paying double still.

 

So I assume each of the 10 steps will take hours or even days before they finish. That means you with pay the speed up cost or it takes you a couple weeks to MU 10/10.

 

The devil is in the details here.
