[Declined] Map Music

The title says all. Each map should have it's own theme music, possibly even depending on the map itself, much the old map Moon Silence, or Madness. Players should also be allowed to turn music off in the Settings menu. Thanks!

We had this idea plenty of times before and the main problem is that people have different tastes. It's very hard to find/compose a melody that the majority of players would want to listen to throughout the whole battle, so even if the option to disable it was added to settings, it would still be a lot of time and resources wasted on developing something that very few people will enjoy.

Oh and the freaking lag aside from maddness, which is by the way the laggiest map I have ever played and is also why i dont play it. 

 

And I don't care for in game sounds aside from turrents and hulls for strategic purposes.

My suggestion is that we should add a background music while playing so that people are not bored in the game.

If you know how to use the mixer or even just the tab sound control you can just play a song from another tab while not hearing the Tanki sounds at all.

That's what I always do, and the people should do if they got bored while playing Tank Online. And so, the developers' time and resources won't be wasted at all.
