Here's my entry and my story in the description is kinda long but I won't edit because due to running around in the forum and how much I try to finish this until now, I've busted my own brain. Anyway here goes nothing...

Event name: Kill the Dragon King Day
Date: July 4th
Description: We think we know about the legend of the Lost City of Atlantis because of the overpopulation and the flood that killed everyone there & that America set itself free from God knows who on July 4th, 1976 but are we really sure about that? Because now, I think we are ignoring the true fact and legend behind it. Don't believe me? Let me tell you about it then. Everyone sleeps or pretends to and my face right now: -_- really?! A long time ago, in the Lost City of Atlantis (before it got destroyed by the flood 2 years later), there lived a group of people called the Merlocks Merwinks Merfloks (I was close ok?) and lived without a king not knowing he got barbecued by dragons (where's the barbecue sauce?). They love to sail across the sea like Vikings :ph34r: no kill me @Viking4s ok? and hunt dragons. And it officially became a dragon hunt from then on because they hunt dragons day after day. So one day, they decided to rest while a black dragon got angry because he heard of what's happening to the other dragons so he was anointed as the "King of the Dragons" (yes, he wore the King's royal crown) and blasted a fire ball at Atlantis but it fell in the ocean and created a tsunami (also called the Atlantic flood). When everyone saw the tsunami coming, they fled but sadly only 158 people survived because half the population near the flood died, 2 boats were sunk to the sea and again 3 more because they faced the storm after a long fat U-turn (poor people :(). They mourned for their loss as they sailed for many days. Food was starting to get scarce and it cause a "boat famine" (you know, lack of food on a boat). Then they finally arrived to a certain "hexagon land" (nowadays France). They installed houses by using Google Play Store, gardens and built a city there near the ocean which was called "Scavanfrenchia" (nowadays... um... what's it called again? Ah yes, Bordeaux). And they were secretly training in cases to be ready for anything. When the Dragon King find out they were in his territory, he was outraged (this began the Hot War); he sent some of his warriors to burn them alive but they failed. He sent a second pair but they failed too. Finally he sent his whole army and he was there himself (he can even use his tail like a sword). After days of the war, on Guilli (which means July in.... I don't know what language..) 4th, 911, the Dragon King and his army lost and when the people saw who was the Dragon killer, they rejoiced and made him their new king.
And they call that day "Independence Day", the original one (the one we have nowadays is pretty much "copy paste": the one in 911 was copyright. But oh well.... life is unfair anyways... *sigh*)

Now, they appear once again after thousands of years but now they're planning to invade Tanki Online, take over the operation and prevail! You don't want that to happen? Then snatch find anyone worthy of fighting: your friends, your friends' friends and maybe even a hobo on the streets can help you on this quest! Grab on your Dragon paint (and earn a surprise), be wise in your "equipment-choosing", and go get barbecued to death get ready to kick some dragons. And do you have what it takes to become king?

Also there'll be sales so be as watchful as an eagle

Category 1: The Normal Stuff

The Dragon Dropzone, appearing only 40 seconds after his "second-in-dragmand" gets destroyed (and yes the countdown will pop up under the dropzone) and please drive away from the dropzone because if you don't, anyone in the radius of 10m will be badly damaged by the arrival of the DK (Dragon King).


This is the King Crown Goldbox, and yes that's a lot of crystals to earn from just one goldbox but it comes with a twist: the value of the goldbox itself depends on who catches it.

• Example 1: Player1 gave 63% of damage to the DK but 63% was the most damage given to it. If he catches it, he gets 100k crystals
• Example 2: Player2 kills the Dragon King (which give you a 15% damage bonus) but fell in 9^th place. In case he catches it, he'll receive 80k crystals instead of 100k.

Here's a list for the number of crystals you'll get depending on what place you are and in bracket how many crystals you'll get in case you didn't catch the goldbox in the spoiler below:

 

• 1^st place: 100,000 crystals (the other players don't receive anything; sad life)
• 2^nd place: 97,500 crystals (the other 39 players will only earn 64 crystals)
• 3^rd place: 95,000 crystals (the rest will get 128 crystals)
• 4^th place: 92,500 crystals (the rest: 192 crystals)
• 5^th place: 90,000 crystals (256 crystals)
• 6^th place: 87,500 crystals (321 crystals)
• 7^th place: 85,000 crystals (385 crystals)
• 8^th place: 82,500 crystals (449 crystals)
• 9^th place: 80,000 crystals (513 crystals)
• 10^th place: 77,500 crystals (577 crystals)
• 11^th place: 75,000 crystals (641 crystals)
• 12^th place: 72,500 crystals (705 crystals)
• 13^th place: 70,000 crystals (769 crystals)
• 14^th place: 67,500 crystals (833 crystals)
• 15^th place: 65,000 crystals (897 crystals)
• 16^th place: 62,500 crystals (962 crystals)
• 17^th place: 60,000 crystals (1,026 crystals)
• 18^th place: 57,500 crystals (1,090 crystals)
• 19^th place: 55,000 crystals (1,154 crystals)

• 38^th place: 7,500 crystals (2,372 crystals)
• 39^th place: 5,000 crystals (2,436 crystals)
• 40^th place: 2,500 crystals (well, everyone gets 2,500 crystals; great, right?)

 

NOTE: The amount of crystals where the other 39 players get was rounded up to the nearest 1 (if the answer of the calculation is 64.1025641, it's rounded to 64 but if it is 320.5128205, then it's rounded to 321)
In case you want to know what calculation I did to find out how many crystals would each other 39 players get if they missed the goldbox: 2,500x/39 where x is how many times the amount of 2,500 crystals is missing in case the gold catcher wasn't in 1^st place and 39 represents the number of the other players who didn't get the goldbox)
:excl: WARNING: Only the player who kills the DK will be worthy of taking the goldbox while the others have to sit outside :excl:


Here's the colorful vivid dropzone. It'll glow in the darkness so you can at least see where it is located (unless it's behind a building and you're in front of it) but it's also a dropzone barrier for those who didn't kill the DK; only the DK killer can penetrate through it.


If you ever see a picture of a seagull instead of a Paint then you must realize that tinypic.com is trying to ruin my entry. BTW it'll be the awkwardest paint in Tanki history.
Anyways, this is the Dragon Holiday Paint and it gives you a surprise: either you get 10-15% more damage or you get 10-15% more protection (the percentage is random so if you receive 15% then you're lucky)



 

Category 2: The Gifts

This gift is for those who fights without fear in the battlefield or needs to keep their teammates far from harm.


This is for those who are like the Brave Knight but are the fiercest in the battle and/or can be the ones who seems like champions in battles.


And finally, this is the Dragon Slayer gift. All those who are able to defeat the toughest player(s) in a battle deserve this gift.

I'm nearly finished with my event! I've seen and learned from other entries on what I need to fix. My Goldy is nothing special, a regular box, but hopefully its nice enough :P
