A logic riddle

That's a simple one that many people out there get confused about, so I was wondering what the Tanki community will say. I'll add an explanation after some people will reply. All you have to do is explain this:

The sentence below is true.

The sentence above is false.

I probably won't stay bored for long enough to ever look at this topic again so I'll just post the explanation now...

It's like a loop, means no final outcome. "This sentence is false" and all similar things are just contradictions. This is what gets people confused, but that's not really the catch here.

Usually when someone contradicts himself you tell him to check his facts and eventually you can get to a definite conclusion, but with these sentences you can't because they are talking only about themselves with no other objectives at all. It's the same with "This sentence is true." It's not contradicting itself, but is it really true? what's so true about it, what conclusions can you make from it? It's talking about absolutely nothing but itself so it's meaningless.

This isn't a riddle, it's a paradox.

And yeah, it is logic, but still, not a riddle.

I agree with personia, it is a paradox. However, paradoxes are really, really fun to use to mess with your friends and random people on a forum.
