How to make in-game hotkeys

I have seen somewhere buried in these forums, requests for hotkeys/macros to send things like team commands quickly and easily in combat.  Well they say if you can think of it, someones already done it, while this solution isn't strictly speaking a tanki end solution, it will achieve the result you're looking for.  Google is your friend, have a look for

 

AutoHotKeys

 

Not to big, script your own macro, assign it to your own keys.  In theory ought to work quite nicely for a lot of other games too, but there are limitations with things that use directX.

This: Adding new features to game.?

Not a new feature, a method of achieving the desired feature in another way.  If someone later manages to add it as a feature so much the better in the meantime here is another solution to the problem.
