Supplies experiment #2 this weekend

In our continuous quest to find the right formula for the mechanics of supplies, we’ll be running another experiment this weekend. As we’ve already explained, test servers are too small to give accurate data for these experiments, which is why we’ll be running this experiment on the live servers.
 
The experimental settings will be in the game from 02:00 UTC on Saturday 11th March, till 02:00 UTC on Monday 13th March.
 
Below, you can see how the parameters will be changed:
 
NOTE: These modified parameters will only apply to regular battles, not PRO Battles.
 
Repair Kit
Duration: Unchanged
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50%
 
Double Armor
Duration: 30 seconds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50%
 
Double Damage
Duration: 30 seconds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50%
 
Speed Boost
Duration: 30 seconds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50%
 
Mine
Damage: Unchanged
Cooldown: 45 seconds
Smart Cooldowns: Reduced by 50%
 
Cooldown changes
Cooldown doesn't end automatically after respawn
 
When entering a battle
All supplies will be on cooldown
All reload times have been reduced by two thirds

Remember, these settings are experimental and will only be on the live server from 02:00 UTC on Saturday 11th March, till 02:00 UTC on Monday 13th March. Once the experiment is over, we will take into consideration the data, as well as your feedback, and decide on the next step.

Great this will give me time to catch up on my other games.

Not playing tanki this weekend

 

Your wasting your time with these dumb experiments that kill the game more than benefit it.

I play PRO Battles most of the time anyways, so this won't really affect me.

Whats the difference between cooldowns and smart cooldowns?

The cooldown is the time it takes before you can use the same supply again, the smart cooldown is the time it takes before you can use another supply.

They run experiments like these to avoid implementing a bad system. If you participate in this experiment and give your opinion on what is good about it and what is bad, it will benefit the result in the end. In other words, please try it out and give your opinion. Without players' opinions, it's a lot harder to tell how good or bad this experiment was.

Any change to supplies is a bad change in my opinion. Supplies are perfect right now they dont need to be changed

You already have the right formula...at least for players.  To SELL more supplies, you need to find a way to get people to burn up their supplies even more quickly so a bigger percentage will have to pay real money to resupply.  Answer: shorten the duration and shorten the cooldown times...bigger use of supplies.

 

Thank you for leaving the Pro battles alone...at least for now.  My fear is that whatever change you decide for supplies will further degrade the game in it's consistent downward slide with all the updating and changes of late.
