Add test server access to Tanki client

imho a too easy access to the test servers does no good, as most people there just behave like kids in a candy shop, instead of testing gear.

they just get their beloved combo as close to full M4 as possible, purchase drugs for the rest and party.. taking those valuable slots for the players that truely have the need to test something.

But we can't distinguish between people in need and candy people.. so why not  :)

Um... you can always make the test button grey like in the picture and unable to click when it's closed.

They could invite random players to test servers. They can even do it by ranks, one day they invite many Sergeants and see how they perform, another day they invite WO5, or whatever...

I think it would be great idea if test server had downloadable client like normal tanki online does and it would be named TTO, since my computer doesnt meet standarts and have difficulty playing in browser and probably will be good for some people as well.

Allow Access to Test Server within the Client (Add a Portal Option)

Title pretty much explains it, Add a setting, to enable Test Server Access (Kind of like a developer mode, similar to like chrome, or Discord etc.). and if enabled show a little drop down when the test server is enabled. So then you can play the test server within the client. Flash support is drawing nearer to a close, and Tanki needs to make sure that the client is fully stable enough to handle new features.

I can't remember if this was suggested, I don't really see any similar suggestions.

Quite simply, I am a client player, I do not get the best performance in browser, so my testing qualities are better with the client.

Either add a simple way to switch to test servers or a "Canary" of sorts client (think of how discord is set up) where you can play test servers using the client.

It was possible before a years. When Tanki published their links for Adobe Flash Player standalone. So you have to go to the Wiki, and search for what server you want to play.. Either the normal servers; EU1, EU2, RU1, RU2.. Or the test servers.

I remember playing there and having a good number of FPS.

BTW, nowadays, after a years, I just moved to play all of my time from browser. I think it's more conventional especially for frequent entering of the game

It is already possible to access the test server through the HTML5 client. There are two ways to do this (though neither way is particularly convenient).

You can start the client from the command line with the "--loadURL" flag, followed by the URL of the test server, like so:

start "" "Tanki Online.exe" "--loadURL="https://public-deploy9.test-eu.tankionline.com/browser-public/index.html?config-template=https://c{server}.public-deploy9.test-eu.tankionline.com/config.xml&resources=../resources&balancer=https://balancer.public-deploy9.test-eu.tankionline.com/balancer""

(you may need to change the URL depending on which server is open; this is the URL for HTML5 2)

Alternatively, you can start the client, open the chat, type in the URL of the test server page (https://test.tankionline.com/), and click it. The client will open a new window with the test server. Note that closing the original window will close both windows.
