Mumbai: A new theory proposed by a team of scientists suggests that our universe could be one among many that may or may not be identical to ours. However, according to the study, irrespective of similarities or differences, parallel universes do have substantial influence on each other.

 

 

According to a report in express.co.uk, Professor Howard Wiseman and Dr. Michael Hall from Griffith University's Center for Quantum Dynamics and Dr Dirk-Andre Deckert from the University of California have claimed that the idea of parallel universes is a more than just science fiction.

The team has come up with Many Interacting Worlds Theory that explains how each universe “branches into a multitude of new universes every time a quantum measurement is made”.

Thus according to the new theory, parallel universes may be parallel in the literal sense but do have the potential to cast their impression on others through quantum mechanics.

The sun is set to “flip upside down” within weeks as its magnetic field reverses polarity in an event that will send ripple effects throughout the solar system.

Although it may sound like a catastrophic occurrence, there’s no need to run for cover. The sun switches its polarity, flipping its magnetic north and south, once every eleven years through an internal mechanism about which little is understood.

The swap could however cause intergalactic weather fronts such as geomagnetic storms, which can interfere with satellites and cause radio blackouts.

Nasa said in August that the change would happen in three to four months time, but it is impossible to give a more specific date. Scientist won’t know for around another three weeks whether the flip is complete.

The impact of the transfer will be widespread as the sun’s magnetic field exerts influence well beyond Pluto, past Nasa's Voyager probes positioned near the edge of interstellar space.

The event will be watched closely by researchers at Stanford University’s Wilcox Solar Observatory, which monitors the sun's magnetic field on a daily basis.

Todd Hoeksema, director of the Wilcox Solar Observatory, said the polarity change is built up throughout the eleven year cycle through areas of intense magnetic activity known as sunspots which gradually move towards the poles, eroding the existing opposite polarity.

Eventually, the magnetic field reduces to zero, before rebounding with the opposite polarity. “It's kind of like a tide coming in or going out,” Hoeksema said. “Each little wave brings a little more water in, and eventually you get to the full reversal.”

One of the most noticeable effect on Earth will be a boost in the occurrence, range and visibility of auroras - the Northern Lights. “It’s not a catastrophic event, it’s a large scale event that has some real implications, but its not something we need to worry about,” added Hoeksema.

New Discovery By NASA Suggests Life On A Moon Of Saturn

 

Nasa has just announced that there could be alien life currently living within our solar system, after discovering that all of the elements needed to support life have been found on a moon that orbits planet Saturn. The sixth-largest moon of Saturn, named Enceladus, was found to contain chemicals that have previously indicated life when they were found on Earth, which studies suggest could mean that there could be living things under the icy shell of the moon.

Scientists have believed that life could exist on Enceladus in the past, due to its subsurface ocean that covers the entire body of the planet. However, the new research has allowed for a deeper look into the moon, showing that its chemical energy source is capable of supporting a form of life. These new findings came from the Cassini spacecraft, after it flew through a huge plume of water that was being shot out of the surface of Enceladus. This allowed the spacecraft to obtain readings of the existing water and send them back to the scientists on Earth, who proceeded to study them.

Conclusions were then drawn stating that there is evidence of molecular hydrogen within those jets of vapour, which could only have come from “hydrothermal reactions between hot rocks and water underneath the moon’s icy crust”, according to the researchers. This is the same process that occurs on Earth when providing energy for the specific ecosystems that are found around hydrothermal vents. The hydrogen is a source of good food and fuel for some ancient forms of life. The study has suggested that any life forms on Enceladus may eat the hydrogen, before releasing methane, which has been found coming from the moon in the past.

cientists currently believe that there are three key ingredients that are needed for life to exist on a planet, which are water, organic molecules and a source of energy. Both water and organic molecules have previously been detected on Enceladus, whilst the latest discovery has revealed all three elements on the moon, together with an addition fuel source that is needed to keep life alive. Lewis Dartnell, an astrobiology researcher at the University of Westminster, said, “We now know there’s not only a warm, wet environment – we now realise there’s food for life. There’s fuel for an ecosystem on Enceladus.” Whilst exact details have not yet been discovered about the workings of that ecosystem, the new findings suggest that it is more possible than previously believed.

Researchers are now thinking about sending a mission specifically to Enceladus to hunt for signs of life. Professor Jackman, who worked on the Cassini mission, called the findings a “tantalising result” and asked that further work should be carried out in order to establish more about the icy moon. Professor Dartnell said that there are “some really profound discoveries awaiting us”.

Nasa (duh) has discovered a sudden 30% growth in the Sun's total mass, causing it to have a much greater gravitational pull on the planets, drawing them towards the Sun rapidly. Thankfully, Nasa (duh) has cooked up a super duper high technical sun screen to protect you from those potential nasty sunburns (available at Wallbricks for only $69.99. But, what Nasa (duh) missed was the size of the planets, namely, in the habitable zone.

 

Mars is only a bit more than half the size than us, meaning it's being pulled twice as fast as us (right?). Now, forgetting orbits, because that would be far too complicated, let's just look at it like this:

 

A really fat guy, let's call him Bigtimerush_bry, has 2 ropes which he is pulling on (and sweating). Attached to the end of rope No. 1 is a little helpless rock, let's call that rock GoldRock, and at the end of rope No. 2 is a big, strong, and almighty warrior, let's call him Trump. Which one do you think will come to Bigtimerush_bry first? If you guessed rope No. 2 you're absolutely WRONG!

 

Go learn how gravitational pull works, minus the orbit stuff.

BREAKING AND SHOCKING NEWS! In 2 533 103 169 years, on June 56th, which will be a Thursday, by the way, when we're all long (and I mean, really long) gone, the Earth will disappear!!!!!

 

Why? Because a hydroplasmatic creature is estimated to form in the sandy terrains of Neptune due to global cooling, eventually developing artificial intelligence and will reawaken the Legend of Kendall Jenner's Pepsi ad, who will then proceed to multiply into the billions, flooding YouTube, which will somehow still be alive, with an infinite amount of horrible cringeworthy Pepsi ads, each one worse than the one previous. Mental catastrophe will become of this Pepsi ad epidemic, leading everyone into dark mental zones with nothing but thoughts of complete isolation and hydration.

 

One kid, in the centre of all this, who will stereotypically be called "The One" or "The Chosen One", will realize the scary horrifying truth, and will, within only minutes, unleash the unknown darkness from the depths of the Amazon jungle in attempt to fix everything (why he thought that would help, is still a mystery - it never even happened yet).

 

Obviously, unleashing ultimate doom onto the world doesn't fix much, and the world is, hence, destroyed by the 3vil darkness overlords and his underdogs CooperO and Damn_Slow.
