Tankers!

Tomorrow’s server restart at 02:00 UTC will be bringing a significant amount of changes in the game. Here’s what you can expect to see when you log in tomorrow.

Changes in M0 equipment

All M0 equipment will now become available from the rank of Recruit. Additionally, prices and parameters will be changed slightly.

Changes in M0, M1, M2 and M3 hulls and turrets

All M0, M1, M2 and M3 hulls and turrets will receive an increasing of damage and protection. However, all M3+ equipment will remain unchanged.

Changes in micro-upgrade steps for all M1 hulls and turrets

Following the changes in micro-upgrade steps for M0 equipment, we’re applying the same changes to all M1 turrets and hulls, decreasing the number of upgrade steps from 50 to 10.

As a result of these changes, the total price for fully micro-upgrading an M1 turret or hull will become half of what it used to be, and will become equal to the stock price of that turret or hull the M2 modification. Speeding up a micro-upgrade step will cost twice the price of that step.

However, the aggregate value of steps and speed ups will remain the same.

These changes apply only to M1 modifications of all hulls and turrets, and all existing and completed M1 micro-upgrades will be converted to the new system and rounded up.

For now, these changes will only apply M0 and M1 equipment. We still have not decided whether these changes will also be extended to M2 and M3 modifications.

Rental of Alterations

Rental of Alterations will no longer be for real money. Instead, you will be able to rent Alterations for 24 hours for the price of 5000 crystals.

Other changes

Bulk discounts for buying items of the same type will be removed, and discounts will no longer apply to product kits. Additionally, bonus supplies will be removed from garage kits.

So, make sure you log into the game tomorrow after the server restart and check out the changes for yourself. Don’t forget to tell us what you think in the forum!
For a full list of changes, please check out the patch notes.

Good one Tanki...

A patch usually means that something is getting fixed, you've just changed the meaning of that word and are now breaking TO even more.

Can you please explain this?

Don't really care for anything this update has to offer, but then I read this:

Additionally, bonus supplies will be removed from garage kits.

and now I'm just like, why?

If bonus supplies are removed from garage kits, then the kits should become cheaper to make up for the lack of supplies...

Great! This is gonna be much better for new recruits. Also, it's much better for people who want to try new alterations. So now instead of renting alterations for money, I can rent it for crystals. That's great :D

Hmm, agreed.

What about 'other changes'? I really negate them -- they don't seem as something beneficial for the game that is positive to both non-buyers and buyers.

Pfff, should've been a bit more clear about the kits part. The very thought of no discount on kits will be driving most mid ranks out of their minds.

M0 from recruit is pretty good. Alterations rental is awesome - will definitely try the ones I don't have yet. As for the "bad" updates, well, it was fun while it lasted but I'm ok with it if the previous bonuses damaged the economy.

So just to clarify if I upgrade my m1 turret or hull all the way it will cost as much as buying the equiment m2?

Bulk discounts as in if I buy something in a sale and simultaneously have a PD on the said item, only one of them will apply? (If so, which one is prioritized?)
