I have a ton of them, using supplies regularly, so it doesn't affect me too much.

Sir it wont bother you due to the fact your paid with crystals to do a job..

These changes apply only to M1 modifications of all hulls and turrets, and all existing and completed M1 micro-upgrades will be converted to the new system and rounded up.

 

So if I have 48/50 upgrades on an M1 turret do they refund me all the crystals I put into that turret or is it just gone?

What's the point. If they go to M5 modification then they will be viewed as too overpowered. Then they would have to do another major re-balance to compensate. Why won't people realize that the more equal the more boring. In the old days the maps had more places in them for ambushes and sniping. They took them away because "It was unfair". Now they're doing the same with weapons and hulls. Everything has to have the same protections, everything has to have the same power. I think the proof is in the pudding. There has been a steady Overall decline in the number of players over the years from over 100,000 to around 50,000 on the severs at peak times. That should be a pretty good indication that wrong decisions are being made. The Dev's attitude lately has been let's adjust the things that most people like and forget the things that most have pointed out as the real problems in the game.


Yes. You are correct. Let the developers adjust Tanki Online for features that players like. That will make Tanki Online a much better game.

 

If M5 is no good, then lets have a stronger M4 for every turret, hull and module.

 

 

Everything will be stronger except M3+...you understand now?


Yes.

 

Everything is know more at a balanced level of modification.

Well at least make the speed up step equal to mu .-. who would pay 96k + 96k*2 for a m2 turret... And not only tht.. 75% speed up discount will be making it just as equal to like 1/2 of speed ups .-.

Now that they're streamlining Micro Upgrades, they should lock/unlock them depending on your rank, to solve that problem.

hhh it is good that there will be lever competition... Recruits will learn to spend too..

My opinion: don't reverse this update just lessen the price of speed ups

i just made a new acc, gonna get an m1 at recruit and fire through with supplies ;) not gonna name the alt, but it will be MLG

I know. The developers have to close the gap a little to re-balance out this problem.

Can you please explain this?

The drugs which we get free when kits are bought from the shop will no longer be there and also, the discount we get on the turrents and hulls, eg. 10%, 20% and 30% will also be taken off

Hmm, this update is a troll, my m0 maxed hornet has MLG armor now, m4 rail + alt cant one shot me when i use 50% module, gg

and without the module, bare m3 rails/thunders/hammers cant 1 shot me either, only thing i like is that i can go in parkour trolling while the killers in parkour fail to kill me.

so lets brake this down for some..

 
All M0 equipment will now become available from the rank of Recruit. Additionally, prices and parameters will be changed slightly.
 
Changes in M0, M1, M2 and M3 hulls and turrets

All M0, M1, M2 and M3 hulls and turrets will receive an increasing of damage and protection. However, all M3+ equipment will remain unchanged.
 
Changes in micro-upgrade steps for all M1 hulls and turrets
 
Following the changes in micro-upgrade steps for M0 equipment, we’re applying the same changes to all M1 turrets and hulls, decreasing the number of upgrade steps from 50 to 10.
 
As a result of these changes, the total price for fully micro-upgrading an M1 turret or hull will become half of what it used to be, and will become equal to the stock price of that turret or hull the M2 modification. Speeding up a micro-upgrade step will cost twice the price of that step.
 
However, the aggregate value of steps and speed ups will remain the same.

What I see this upgrade looks like..

 

basically what this means is now when you start tanki as a new player you get a cheaper cost on items in the garage ( or basically free ) then when you go to rank up you can get m1 faster and also m2 as upgrade sooner then later which by the time you reach gizmo rank you should be fully m3 with at less 50% upgrade which now is egual to a m4 .. and you think this is now a fair trade for others .. please correct me if I'am wrong .. because this is how most of us are seeing these updates..

so as a player who is a legend are now egual to a m3 at half upgraded and now have to battle like this until they decided / if they do decided to change this in the future to make m4 stronger or like Riddler said about adding m4 and m5 upgrades ( which I believe he might be right on this thinking ) if so this would make legends stronger as we get higher in legend ranks and if so this would mean that the legend ranks battles would also need to be changed to accommodate the higher upgrades( mults ) cause its like going to a battle with a m3 to battle with a  m5 , they wont stand a chance to even get any kills on them they would only do 1/4 % of damage to them...

You have lots of supplies - that's just swell. And there are many that don't.

 

But you kinda ignored the rest of my post. M3 -> M4 is only on avg19%. Takes a long time for most to get to that 19%.

Dev's gonna make M1 smoky much closer to M2 - cuz.... HUGE difference.

Why has nobody realized that the devs destroyed the whole purpose ranking for recruits to master sergeants?

Meh, I hope that they mean kit discounts won't get boosted by other discounts and not that the kit discounts will be removed altogether. Also what I heard was that bulk discounts mean the gradually increasing garage discounts as you buy more turret/hulls.  :unsure: Unsure about the M3-M4 reduced gap though and how much impact it will make, hopefully not a big one. In other news, my M2 hulls will have a lesser chance of getting 2 shot I think (in XP/BP). :D

 

I don't think the availability of all M0 items at Recruit will affect stuff a lot, but personally, I'd say I detest the change. I think it's better if the "easier" turrets (as in, ease of usage, not mastery) unlock first and the more complex ones, like Shaft, Vulcan and Striker do so later on. Although the selection of items for Recruits now expands, I think doing well with these "easier" items on your tank is important so that they get some basic driving and shooting skills.

Following the changes in micro-upgrade steps for M0 equipment, we’re applying the same changes to all M1 turrets and hulls, decreasing the number of upgrade steps from 50 to 10.

For now, these changes will only apply M0 and M1 equipment. We still have not decided whether these changes will also be extended to M2 and M3 modifications.
 
Rental of Alterations
 
Rental of Alterations will no longer be for real money. Instead, you will be able to rent Alterations for 24 hours for the price of 5000 crystals.

Other changes
 
Bulk discounts for buying items of the same type will be removed, and discounts will no longer apply to product kits. Additionally, bonus supplies will be removed from garage kits.

 

Nice :) but getting some drugs when u buy a kit encourages peoples to buy kit thought.

 

+ i like the idea of making new players in Tanki to have good combos as they are progressing throughout the game.

the rest will depend how the newbi manages his account.

i think in the long run, this will reduce muls as they will have the combos needed as their work-through in the game,by ranks.
