Micro-Upgrade Schedule 

 

I know it is only a week or so after the new M0 MU update and only a day after the M1 MU update, but could the Tanki Staff update the Micro-Upgrade Schedule?  You know, the web pages that delineate how much each successive upgrade and speed ups cost.  

 

M0 turrets needed = Twins-Rico-Smoky-Thunder-Railgun-Shaft-Hammer-Vulcan-Striker

M0 turrets completed already = Firebird-Freeze-Isida

M0 hulls needed = all hulls

 

M1 turrets needed = all turrets

M1 hulls needed = all hulls

 

I'm sure they will eventually get to it, but maybe a smallish fire under them?  Pretty please?

They just created a new rank for you recently and gave you a tasty crystals reward. You will always want more and more. There are already enough many ranks, if they add more, the game will become unfriendly to new players, It takes ages to get to the highest rank, everyone's goal is to get to the highest level, if that's not achievable, they won't bother playing it.

sir you can rank to gizmo in less then 3 months .. how do I know this cause i have done it myself and if you go to the world record you will see another player did it in less then me.. so we do want new ranks cause we have been asking for them for years and you can check other players in the archives on this , I'am not the only one who needs or wants it.. for the higher ranks we want more to be offered to enjoy the game so we stay and play and invest into the company but when the company chooses to stop for years at a certain point many good players have gone, sure the odd one returns but there not playing for long time.. also if this game had more challenges for higher rank players it would increase players and $$ to cover both games ..

How is M3 going to be upgraded faster to M4 now?? The MU half price changes are only for M0-M1 modifications.

 

Stock equipment got increase of just around 5%. That's too little to make any noticeable difference. I don't know why are you crying. There is still the same gap between M3 and M4. I'd like to be able to do upgrades at half price too. Older players upgraded to M4 on the cheap before the MU update a year ago. Everyone who had upgraded damage or protection got full M4 for free. Now for players that come from below is impossible to upgrade to M4. That should be changed. This update is a step in the right direction, but still not enough.

I'm sursprised no-one mentioned about the impact this update has on xp/bp,

from what i see, m2 hornet (24%) has the most overall armor in this format, 1939.5

                  and m2 wasp (12%) has second most overall armor, 1838.6

                while m3 wasp/hornet (0%) has 1765,

                yeah hornet m2 may be the slowest which is why it has such an armor boost,

                but hornet m3 is slower than m2 wasp, yet this armor difference?

               i know there are other stats like manouverability and acceleration and power,

              but this update has pretty much buffed hornet a bit too much and wasp.

 

Maybe changing the % of default protection would be, i.e 20% instead of 24% for m2 hornet and 10% instead of 12% for m2 wasp.

 

In my current state, i believe having m2 hornet and m3 rail is the best combo, sacrifice speed for higher chance of being 3 shots,

such an imbalance in the format.

 

Ps. i dont play xp/bp as a regular, i prefer non format cuz i like playin with a wide variety of combo's to keep me excited.

there are sales coming April 1st is one but what is on sale we wont know until the date gets closer the big sale is in June for there Birthday sale .. so either save for the small one or the big one.. your choice..

What is the purpose now? There will be no discounts on kits after all. I don't want to buy a m2 or mu it.

It has not gone unnoticed that Cedric does not ever answer the tough questions Tomato. Nor does Hazel. They want "this is the way it is live with it." We control the game with our buying. Just stop buying and they may have to start asking the players what THEY want.

I like this aspect of the update. It means you can MU all the way to M3 without paying twice, if you want to.

 

10 steps also means we can do math a little easier for our calculations.

They had to adjust M0, M1, M2 and M3s because the changes to M0, the M0 changes are designed to make the game simpler for new players.

I understand your frustration, but unfortunately there's nothing I can do. You upgraded at the time when the prices were that way, and you got the item you paid for. If the prices had been raised instead of lowered, would it have made sense for us to demand that you pay the money you had saved? No.

The problem with your analogy is that your hypothetical situation doesn't work to the detriment of the player, whereas in the present situation, we find people who have bought stuff and the changes work to their disadvantage.

 

It is true that Tanki doesn't have to do anything about it. It's life, tough luck, and all that. However, it would be nice of Tanki to do something about it, something that told the players, "Hey, we appreciate that you spend your money and your time with us. We understand that this changes affect you in a negative way, so we want to give you a sign of our appreciation." Then, all those who have M1 and M3s upgraded to 50/50 wouldn't feel like they have wasted their money.

 

Really, giving something like a protection module of the appropriate modification, for instance, to those who have a fully upgraded M1 or M3 wouldn't cost Tanki anything (as it basically means switching on a couple of bits on a hard drive), and it would make the relationship with the costumers a lot better, which, in my understanding, is to Tanki's interest.

All i do is create new accounts and rank it to WO1, with some i have a specific combo, or a KD challenge etc, tanki really has not done anything to keep me on my legend account as much. i dont have many, but this month i guess you could say i made around 4 new accounts cuz of this.

 

Ps. Lobby chat is probably the only thing keeping me on tanki as much, even gold rains and rfgs and stg's dont entertain me.

It often happen to see my entire team leaving the battle, because it's M3 vs M4 and we lose big time. It's hard to find good games for my rank (commander) and I'm forced to play with M4 legends. I'm a good player, but when the opponent has much better equipment it's hard to compete.

I wish I had M3 items in dec 2015 with some upgrades and get them fully upgraded to M4 for free, as it happened. It's hardly possible to upgrade to M4 anymore.

95% more powerful?! so lets say we talk about m3 light, 1765 armor, ur saying that m4 is 95% stronger, but 2000/1765 says something else,

m4's are only 13.3% stronger than the m3 (atleast proven for light hulls),

before the buff, light m3's had 1682 (roughly) armor, 2000/1282 = 18.9%, i see no 95% here, next time you wish to state a value, please use statistics to prove it.

 

P.s spending 600k on an MU and SU Sale of 50% and 70% respectively to get an m4 and now having a 13.3% advantage is utter rubbish.

ofcourse i have only studied light hulls at m3 and m4, not gonna bother going thru the rest, you can do it yourself.

 

ooo, i forgot, supplies i.e DA and DD give 100% advantage each, u should be more worried about druggers, not m4's m4's have a mere small advantage compared to druggers, yes i have seen many m4's who have no drugs or dont drug, so m4's arent really much of a threat.

The Mu changes looks like a fast tracking process to the middle ranks for noobs and to make it more friendly to new player.

Stronger tank is also a way to reduce the power gap differences between tanks that you could find in battle. It's still a long term game.

My initial goal, when I started, was to reach the final gizmo rank, but now there is no end to the game as the final rank repeat itself perpetually.

However playing the game showed me that there is more to that, Parkour and special battle format are actually more interesting than the continuous ranking, so now reaching legend is a secondary goal for me.

 

Also with the clan system and latest modification of the micro-upgrade we can hint that TO is steering toward a "Clash Clan" game type. Where clans will be ranked against each other. Which means that it could be a new potential goal.

for ranking to gizmo I guess you have not figured out that if you battle more against lower ranks you will get there faster .. and it do's work.. also buy premium pass due to the multi player pass is now build into it..also lots of drugs..and for time well that's fully your choice on how much time you want to spend, for me it was easy due to when i did it my personal life had no boundary's attached and i had the time to spare .. for me to do it again well right now my personal life boundary's are a little busy at this time of year..

 

 

Is this a result of recent survey? So far I personally have not seen one on this on any of my many accounts and if I did ..I find it only being given to many be 1 or 2 accounts and not all of them so to get the full survey from all players it should go to everyone , no matter what the rank is..
