What's the best Free Video Recorder for a Laptop?

I'm thinking of making and uploading a few videos to YouTube (T.O Events and such) and I need a good recorder. Any suggestions?

I am using Quick Time Player to record the video. I can do screen recording as well.

Bandicam is the closest thing I would say if you don't mind that copyright thing but you can remove it anytime you want if it bothers you that much so yeah.

 

Usually I use Camtasia but than again it is not a free recording program and I don't know if it will run probably on your Laptop but it is worth the money.

If your computer has plenty of power, open broadcaster studio is easily the best. There is no watermark, and there are tons of options to make sure you can get smooth gameplay.

I suggest you to use Action, Fraps,Bandicam and Camtasia etc...

You can find some ways to remove the watermark from Youtube..

Thanks for the suggestions. I know of Bandicam and have watched videos made with it. Really grainy footage so definitely not that. I'll look into the others though

Every recording software is good the only thing you need is a decent PC.

Camtasia kinda sucks because of lag. Now even without it (or any programs running) it lags intensively.

I downloaded the cracked / full version of it (2014 maybe)
