clan tag has been changed

Our clan tag was MOD and now it has been changed to something else. Anyone knows why or who did it? Clan leader can't even change clan tag.

Our clan is Merchants Of Death and that's why we had MOD tag.

I've seen damn_slow talking about this before, I think that the clan tag was already reserved by another clan (on the forum), if yes, the clan leader of that clan can send an Email to the teach support to get his original clan tag.

Hey your clan tag is change contact tech support and provide your clan link along with screenshot of front page and date of both you started forum topic and date when clan system started and you request them to change .

There is only 1 forum clan with mod tag. Second nearest tag to ours is for Madness clan with tag MAD.

I checked using cntrl+f in each page.

If player still doesnt know there are clans in the game or that moderators have silver question mark next to their name is NOT our fault. We are not responsible for stupidity of other people which thinks if im from MOD clan then im moderator and he should give me hes pass etc etc. Even if he does give me hes pass then its hes fault for not following rules.

We all understand that there's a rule saying that we can't pretend to be Moderators, but this is honestly pretty ridiculous. It's not exactly our fault that MOD is an abbreviation for Moderator... What if there was a clan made back in 2012 that had the abbreviation [ADMIN] and won several tournaments; it was a very well-known clan, such as Vavilon, and then their clan tag suddenly isn't allowed to be used because "people would think that they're admins?" That would probably start a riot.

 

Also, there are no Moderators who have clan tags next to their name called [MOD] to signify that they're moderators. It's represented by a question mark. Why would people even think that we're moderators? One click on our clan profile and they'll know that it's an abbreviation for Merchants of Death. I've had this tag for 32 days and 23 hours. Not ONE person has thought that I'm a moderator.

Seriously, how is it impersonating a moderator? People know that it is a clan tag anyway. 

 

EDIT: If people think we are mods, that is theme being ignorant, not us impersonating. That is like having a knickname called I_Am_A_Mod, if people actually think you are a mod, it is them being stupid.

MOD doesn't violate any rules. It has BRACKETS before the name, and that can only be there if the tanker is in a clan. If people think we are mods, it is their ignorance.

And will we be allowed to change the tag? It's just rude to change our own clan tag, which we purchased with real money, without notifying us beforehand of what we would like to change our tag to.

That's the thing I have never seen a person think we are a mod. As stated in the post above, the square brackets clearly show it is a clan and not a status.

 

I still see no valid excuse as to why the clan tag was changed.
