Hey, everyone. We're sorry to announce it, and it's for real this time, but LPS is finally going to be closed down. The club was founded back on March 18th, 2017 by @iMoneyMaker, and I got the honour to become a member on Christmas Day of 2017, almost exactly a year ago. Getting to become an Editor and Spectator for Legacy Parkourists was definitely an honour, and I owe it all to @iMoneyMaker and the old LPS Team from those days, for always being by my side, and being supportive on all the work I do. Thanks to them, I got back into Parkour and im still a mult at it. yes the cross through text joke is still funny ok

 

I'd like to thank all of the old and current members of LPS for helping to bring this club where it is today, it definitely had its ups and downs but it was an experience to enjoy and mature from, and hopefully, we'll all learn from our mistakes and try to avoid them in the future. As to why the club is closing down, those are some complicated reasons that aren't necessary to be discussed publically; unfortunate conflicts with past history, and changes to the German Community which has led to the founder's decision of closing down the club.

 

I'd like to express my sincerest of gratitude to our fans for always believing in us even after our terribly long periods of inactivity, pointless drama on the forums caused by a few members, and any other mistakes that our members may have made. On that note, I'd like to apologize, to everyone. To anyone who was harmed by LPS or its members, on their behalf I give my sincerest of apologies and hope we can move on from those experiences. I apologize to LPS, for not always being there for them, I apologize for being pointlessly extravagant by writing this announcement when I'm just an editor/spectator, and I apologize to our fans and viewers for having to shut down LPS.

 

Let's try to stay positive. Good luck to everyone on your future endeavours in Parkour, I'd love to maintain some connections with you all and continue parkouring. Being in a club, receiving support, or having a spectator, none of these are requirements to being a parkourist. All you need is dedication and some friends, whether that's in the form of a Parkour Club or not doesn't matter.

We weren't expecting this at all, but I'm afraid LPS has to be shut down. I don't see how an Event Admin has powers to remove our achievements on the German Local without any reason. Him and probably two others have had this planned to collect old facts and block us and remove us from the DE Local because apparently, we don't deserve any of it. We worked hard for everything and we started as a German Club. So Instead of removing us from German Local, we have decided to shut LPS down. My work isn't done yet, I will keep investigating how an "admin" has more power then the Community Manager to close us down, Only the Germany Community Manager (@Alexandra.Vladi) has been supporting us always by giving us a spectator account and of course giving us supplies for parkour since we have worked hard for it. She didn't even want us shut down and I don't think she even knows why we were shut down. On the other hand, it is time to close the club. I'm not finding enough time anymore because of studies and working. I could hand over the club and they can re-start but there is no point at all. Since the same old helpers will hate LPS and will find any facts to make us look bad. This posts will probably be hidden, like usual.

Time has come to end, club living for more than a year and was reaching 2 years old in a couple of months. I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who supported us during the time of LPS being alive but like usual an end will have to come so here it is. I want to thank every Member, Spectator, Editor, and Candidates and of course, the CO-Leaders for all their work they have done for LPS and have bought us to a good stood until someone decides to shut us down. I miss my old members a lot and they still play tanki and some have left but time must move on and so does this club, it will be buried deep down in a parkour map. Adel if you're reading this, I want to give you a big big thank you for re-opening LPS and convincing me to keep going with LPS, you made what LPS is today along with the others. To all fans and others thank you once again. We are 100% sure we will not be re-opening again. I wish the other parkour clubs the best of luck in the future, and hope that the admin or helpers don't shut you down as well! TDF you guys did great and thanks for supporting us, you guys deserve being official and keep it up, NGU you guys are legends when it comes to space, hope you guys receive Official next. I think it is kinda sad, that a parkour club just closes down, because they lost their spectator account.

Please read what I mentioned at my announcement. There is around 2-3 reasons we are closing. I understand the changes In the German Community and agree with a few things you said to me in PM. We are not closing because we lost Spectator due to the new changes. Because I'm not finding enough time anymore, I don't want anyone else taking over LPS. When you're born one day you will go through is death. Just like a club, it was born and now passing away. I respect the changes and LPS had their time.

Thank you iMoneyMaker for taking me and my whole TWJ club to urs. We've had some funny and nice moments there.  :)  :wub:

I remember all these old moments and I'll never forget them, because they were also a part of You, guys.

A parkour club that had very hard moments, either real life or in-game problems. Still, managed to stay alive for a long time. That's how the best Parkour club closes down just because of a few jealous people, you are the best parkour club of all the communities.
