Hi i tryedd new magnum but. That. Non turrt moving is annoy. So please. Add. Button For right left. ( eg : z,x keys for up down. But if press v key(just for eg ) then z,x keys will go right & left after press agian v it will up & down

Great analysis @Maf!

 

Every turret needs some practice to use it effectively. When I started playing Raigun, more experienced users killed me all the time. I didn't like the shooting delay, the long time between shots, I always missed, etc. Magnum is the same. It's obvious I should be more effective with Vulcan M2 (200 hours) than with Magnum M2 (0 hours). When I played 200 hours with Magnum I can expect good results.

Y'all gonna add a description for magnum? It literally just says "artillery". The game is looking rough around the edges recently.

That was a mistake. It will be fixed soon. But thanks for pointing it out  :)

 

After playing with it.. its completely useless. You will miss 80% of your shots and those that hit are going to do weak damage from splash. You might as well be using firebird and mammoth.

Completely useless? I could say the same thing about Railgun after trying it the first time and playing with it for a couple of days. But then every eSports player worth their salt would come in and call me an *****. And guess what. They'd be right. Because it's not true that Railgun is useless. It just has a pretty steep learning curve.

 

The same goes for Magnum. Don't judge it as useless when you've played it for less than 48hrs.

You know what I mean, xp/bp poly cp was the best way to earn kills and we can't... So the other way is to play dm normal map.

But it's IMPOSSIBLE to do these 250 kills or more with loads of full MU's and druggers in dm non pro-battle pass.

That's why I think #GameForDruggers

And this isn't only for this giveaway, tanki has become even worst since 2 years... except some awesome events (April Fools Days, Halloween, ...)

And I really hope that the 1st of April's event that will be soon on tanki will be at least so good than last year.

Actually, you'll find there are a lot of players who will hit 250 and even 500 kills in regular matches without relying too heavily on supplies. Still, if you don't like the event, nobody is forcing you to participate. We make these events as "an extra" for players. But they're not compulsory you know.  :)

Also, who came up with the name? Parents will be concerned when their kids are talking about magnums.

Are these the same parents who allow their children to play a game where players shoot each other with tanks, and continually use words such as "kill", "death" and "drugs"?

It's not a tactical turret. As you can see, but its fun to play. More than i expected. The incredible kills i got from random shots... that makes me play with this turret even more! Overall, gr8 m8 i r8 8/8.

I wouldn't rush too much into saying it's not a tactical turret. I say in a couple of months we'll start seeing a handful of players who will be using this turret with DEVASTATING accuracy.

 

Look at it this way. If you're on static point A on a map, and you want to hit static point B on the map, all you need to do is try out a few shots and make notes. And once you've got those notes, you'll know the exact numbers to "dial in" to hit your enemy's strategic points all the time.

 

This is a turret unlike any other. It's gonna take patience and lots of though, much like the artillery in real life. But I'm darn sure it's gonna be super rewarding, and even lots of fun as you rightly said.

There are (three) things that are missing for the Magnum turret.

 

1. Wiki information page.

 

The Magnum turret needs a Wiki page with its description. That is important so that players know how this turret works and gets detailed information referring to its firepower.

2. Alterations

 

Alterations is something that Magnum needs to have. Without them, players cannot alter the Magnum to suit their gaming style for this turret.

3. Quadruple modules

 

There is a great need for quadruple modules. Players need a protection module that protects them from Magnum, Striker, Shaft and Railgun.

 

Please add all the missing data for the Magnum turret. By the way, Striker needs to have alterations as well.

Thank you for saying that developers are working on the Acid turret.

That was never said. And you didn't mention it in your post.

 

Cedric Debono meant that wiki editors are working on the Wiki article for Magnum, while alterations are likely to be added in the future. "Acid turret" is not planned, but keep in mind that we already have a "Corrosive mix" alteration for Freeze, as well as the Firebird turret that continues to deal damage to a tank after it finished attacking, which would be the same as an acid attack. There simply is no need for an "acid turret", because its mechanics would be too similar to Freeze or Firebird.

We don't need more turrets.  We need more kits, paints, and alterations.

Magnum and Striker Achievements Page

 

The Magnum and Striker turrets must have achievements added to the Achievements Page, so that players can complete them with those two new turrets.

 

Please ask the developers to add achievements to the Achievements Page.

We're working on those They were included in yesterday's patch and are already in the game (thanks @Maf for letting me know I put my foot in my mouth lol)
