Magnum Turret Released + Giveaway!

Honestly speaking, I really don't see how this message answers my previous posts.

I shouldn't be purchasing modules? Well, they happen to come with kits. Or at least, they did last autumn. Also, Eagle D-A was rather useful while it kept me from being one-shot by Shafts. Then why are you complaining?

Avoiding getting locked by a Stricker is easy when there's nobody else around. When you've got a Hammer on double damage and a Firebird coming toward you, things change a bit.

I'm not even sure what the point behind respawning and real battles is, sorry.  The point is that it's possible to have fun even while there is a weapon in the game that can one-shot you. Just look at most FPS games.

I am complaining because being one-shot is not fun. Before, there was only one turret that could one-shoot me without double damage. But I had protection against it, so it couldn't one-shoot me off double damage. Then, Tanki changed the rules of the game, so not only is my protection against Shaft useless now, but there are two more turrets that can one-shoot me without double damage.

I love this Turret, been using this for almost a week now on a lower account and it seems very balanced.

However there's one thing I don't like which is the damage variation gap, sometimes it does 700 dmg, sometimes 1000 dmg, this makes the user rely too much on luck which is bad in my opinion.

I know most of the turrets have a damage variation as well but none of them are so random like the Magnum.

That depends on whether it was a direct hit, which for m0 would be 1000 points in damage, or the splash damage which would vary from 200 to 800 points in damage depending the enemy's distance from the blast.

Protection modules could also have been a huge factor.

It might also be the velocity of the shell (I don't know for sure about this one)

I've hit enemies many times on low range 100% powered direct hits and it still does very low damage sometimes, also they did not have protection modules.

Maybe this is a bug which I hope it is but if not then Magnum users will suffer from the randomness of the damage.

Today on the 01/04/2017 I have purchased M3 Magnum at 30% off. What a shame that this discount is 30%, not 50% off.

I also purchased Mr Smiley paint at 30% off too.

I need a yellow paint.

I also purchased Mr Smiley paint at 30% off too.

I need a yellow paint. Yellow paint means that I am a gold box hunter and I need help on collecting every gold box that drops.

:)

Happy Gold boxing.

Just bought the M1 of magnum, and I've fallen in love with it. I always thought shaft was cool, but now, I'm going magnum instead. :)

Also just wanted to say, TO guys, keep doing what you're doing. Don't listen to all these whining complainers. Oh, and don't make magnum any easier to use, otherwise everyone will be good at it and it will be to good to compete with. Magnum's fine how it is, I'm happy with it. :)

It seems now to be a definite fact that Magnum is a gauss-curve weapon. This means that each direct hit/shot (not taking into account modules) does a random amount of damage, between the minimum and maximum damages.  However, damage values closer to the middle of these two values, or average, are much more common.  Magnum users do not "suffer" from this, because this is the way Twins, Ricochet, Striker, Railgun, Thunder, and Smoky work as well.  (Except they are also influenced by distance, excepting railgun.)

Yeah, TO guys, keeping making your players unhappy and inviting them to quit. You can take our advice, because this guy knows what he's talking about.

Magnum is missing this thread on Wiki.

Capture.png

The missing Magnum info is "More information about this turret can be found in the Wiki". This is a vital piece of information that is missing from the Wiki. The Wiki link is supposed to be in the turret's description in the garage, just like with all the other turrets.

Yeah but the difference between the min damage and max damage of the magnum is way too much and it just gets worse on higher upgrades, look at M3 Magnum, min dmg of 1018 and max dmg of 2052, thats a 100% gap of difference and no other weapon come this close to random damage rolls.

As I just stated in a different thread very recently:

Those who won this turret, you do realize that the amount of kills you were required to make made you move up so high in exp that it would have cost you less crystals to patiently wait with only playing missions and using those crystals (including the results of those battles) to "buy" the turret? (not including if you won enough gold boxes, which you aren't guaranteed to catch anyway once you drop them, unless you cheat by using mults)

...that's why I decided to instead simply buy it outright.

Despite being born on April 1st, I am definitely not a fool. :P

Magnum needs to be weakened a good amount, it is OP in maps like Noise. In Noise you just join red team and get kills after kills.

It also needs to turn, because many times they are blocking path ways when they are trying to aim or turn.

The keys setup could be as simple as:

Z = Left

X = Right

C = Center

Spacebar = Tap for Low angle shots and Hold for Higher angle shots.

There will be only one speed, which at a certain angle will make the projectile reach from one to the other in the longest map.

That means you can't just bombard low floor in Noise with quick taps, You have to do it like Thunder or aim very high carefully..

-Z= LEFT ROTATION

-X= RIGHT ROTATION

-CNTRL+Z= INCREASE DEGREES

-CNTRL+X= DECREASE DEGREES

-C= CENTER ALL

See, don't listen to whiners like this. If he had it his way, he'd want everything free
