The word Magnum is very specific, and for some it means gun. You can't kill someone by trowing sugar at them.

"I got 241 kills" heard at a school, will probably be assumed to be about a video game, "I got Magnum" I'm not sure.

Then, like I said, that person should be smart enough not to talk about Tanki in front of a Principal or such.  Even if they are questioned, they'll just explain and everything will be fine.

At this point I'm just gonna assume you're American, since that's pretty much the only place where any mention of guns on school grounds is enough to get you expelled/arrested. Sorry, but you're really the minority here. No other players have an issue with this name.

Well, I'm American, and I can tell you that's the extreme exception. I'm sure it sounds worse when you read about it from other countries. ;)

u guys should add a laser or something that will show where the bomb will drop its hard to guess the angle and power

No, once people figure out firing angles it will be quite effective already.

Plus, how do you make a curved laser? The whole proposition is unrealistic, and we already have two lasers.

actually. I've capped a few flags on my alt with Viking Magnum

It's possible, just like I do with Shaft. Just saying that it's not the first choice.

It's actually interesting, with a splash damage radius that big, you just aim at the building behind the sniper, which is a much easier target.

Terrible weapon, only m0 noobs are gonna use it. At M3 ranks if you enter the battle with this **** everyone is gonna ask you to leave.

Idea - Mag-tracker :3

What's gonna happen is after you fire the shot, you will have a first-person view of the bullet. Like, you pretty much become the bullet. Which'll obviously make it waaaaaaaaaaaay easier to aim... Plus, make the Charge go back down, then up, then down again.

Issues so far i seen in DM battles are

reload time takes too long for players

need demo or info on how to use it ( i know this will come in time )

the damage is too stronger  on larger hulls and should be about half the damage done or less  to them compared to smaller hulls which one shot or more should take them out

also re look into hammer its over power full. the damage / it takes players out in one shot on medium to smaller hulls and it should be like 2 or even one and half times

Magnum isn't meant to be among the best turrets for DM, it's mainly a defensive turret for team battles

The damage is high because it's like a feature of the turret - the shot is supposed to be high-caliber and having high damage supports that

The reload on the other hand is long  to compensate for the said high damage per shot

By the way, Hammer's clip reload was increased a few patch updates ago, and I personally think it's fine as it is now

I agree with the charge meter going back doing after hitting 100%, but then it'll be way too long if you want 95-100% and you fail to take your finger off at the right time. As is you can change the angle to compensate if you hit 100% when you didn't want to.

I tried Magnum yesterday with another Tanki Online account, and I find it easy to use and amazing.

By the way, what are the green markers with numbers on the two sides of Magnum?

Capture.png

In the past, I always wanted to have a turret that could fire in an upwards direction. Now my dream have come true. Magnum can greatly help players who are camping behind a wall or building and shoot upwards killing enemies behind. For example, when playing on the Island map, players using Wasp or Hornet often hide-and-seek behind the houses. That is very annoying for heavy hull players, so Magnum can now help players using heavy hulls that move slowly, to kill their hide-and-seek enemy targets.

Magnum can save the day for hide-and-seek noobies.

The left one indicates the angle that your turret makes with the horizontal. The other one on the right shows the shot power in %.

My suggestion is, to make both markers more distinguishable is to make them in two different colours. The right marker that shows the shot's power should be in red, and the left marker remain green.

I don't think there is a need. The angle meter has value written in degrees and the power meter has value written in %, so it is pretty easy to guess what meter shows what..

The writing is green and small so it is very hard to read.

Thanks.

But I don't have Magnum yet. I am waiting for a 50% discount on turrets, so that I buy Magnum at half price. I'm saving up on crystals.

Sounds interesting, but really hard to implement.

Well, maybe not exactly a "bullet tracker" that makes your camera fly right behind the bullet, but perhaps have the camera slowly pan towards the location where the shot lands? I don't think it's necessary though.

That I agree with. Also the fact that it's very hard to get the exact power you need since the numbers change so fast when you charge up the shot, as I mentioned in my first post here.

There is no need for a bullet tracker. What Magnum needs is a target point on the ground showing the shooter where the Magnum shell would land. That would make more sense and make it a lot easier to aim and kill enemies without missing the shot.

yes and then we put 1500 damage for all turrets so they stay balanced!
