David Moyes is out of his mind. He will allow Andy Caroll to join Chelsea only on one condition, that is, if Batshuayi goes the other way.

 

Just who is this Andy Caroll? An injury-prone player, who started only 8 games and scored only twice this season. And if someone tells me that he is better than Batshuayi, then they must be out of their right mind. Yes, we need a secondary striker. But Caroll isn't the answer. Not at least in exchange for Batshuayi. We have so many options. We can even try baiting Aubameyang to Chelsea in exchange for cash plus Batshuayi. We can invest on youngsters with potential.

 

Don't get me wrong, I will be happy if Chelsea signs Caroll. That will add to our poor squad depth and having two secondary strikers will add to our options. But if, just if, the deal I mentioned above does happen and Batshuayi ends up at West Ham...rip.

 

I miss Diego Costa so bad. I understand that it's the first time Morata is playing with regularity and he just needs time. We need to sign a striker to support him. That's whT we are trying to do but the targets we are chasing are so wrong.

Please make this Dzeko and Palmieri deal happen. Pay Roma the extra 15 million they are asking for. In today's transfer market, 65 million for Dzeko and Palmieri isn't a bad deal at all. Batshuayi can go the other way!

If Arsenal do sign Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang, that would help the team right now, but i dont know if its best for us long term. If we get those 2 and keep Ozil thats 2 or 3 world class players, and then a guy who could be one in Lacazette. However we would still need to get a new gk, 1 or 2 cbs, and a cdm. Mkhi, Auba and Ozil are all 28 or older. Are we going to be willing to bring in good enough defenders while Mkhi and Auba are still good enough to contend for the title? doubtful. Now i saw a report that said Wenger is promising Aubameyang there will be massive squad changes in the summer, but that is a rumor and its not like Wenger hasn't said stuff like that before. Thats why i would rather sign malcom and go younger. As good as an attack of Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitaryan, and Ozil would be, they only have 2-3 years where they would be in their prime and i don't think we could get a good enough defense in that time to contend.

I have to say, Batshuayi was splendid today. Till the end, he had his presence on the pitch.

 

Conte should give him more time to play. I know I complain a lot when Batshuayi plays bad, but that's a given, obviously a player will lack match fitness if they don't play regularly. He will score regularly if he improves his positioning. Let's not forget he scored 23 goals in a season for Marseille before he joined Chelsea. And no. Don't send him out on loan.

 

Hazard is the connection between our attack and midfield, and it was obvious from today's match. That's why playing him up front as a false nine didn't work well against Arsenal.

 

Morata set to miss Bournemouth clash. Conte, please play Batshuayi up front, and not Hazard as a false nine.
