Arsenal 1 - 3 Manchester United

Possession 75% - 25%

Shots 33 - 8

Shots on target 15 - 4

Touches 846 - 448

Passes 665 -222

I had my mouth wide open during the entire second half. I really thought that Arsenal would make a come back and while their domination was never in question, it was De Gea who saved the game for United. This guy, De Gea, was literally flying all over the place. Arsenal could have won but their silly mistakes in the first half really costed them and United were clinical in converting the few chances they got.

Pogba out for 3 games. If City wins today's game and then defeats United next week, then they will beat surpass Chelsea and Arsenal's joint record of 13 wins in a row. Hope united wins!!

Arsenal lost because of moronic defending and poor shooting. De Gea did great and made some great saves, but we should have scored more than 1 with so many shots. If a team has bad defending and bad shooting, its hard to win. If Man U didnt have only 25% possession, we probably would have gifted 2 more goals

Oh, come on. You gotta be kidding me. This is exactly what happens when you underestimate your opposition too much. The pundits in the pre-match analysis were all like 'Come on, this is West Ham! No way Chelsea will lose.’

Our defense always has a sluggish start. We have already seen this against West Brom (we conceded an offside goal) and Newcastle. I won't blame Bakayoko for West Ham's goal but dude was like, 'What the hell is going on? I guess I will just run around without a purpose!’ I don't mind if we lose against anyone from the top 6. But we can't just afford to drop points against teams in the relegation zone! First against Crystal Palace and now West Ham. I don't give a damn about the fact that we had more possession, shots, passes and touches. We were just passing the ball back and forth! A match is never about possession, it's about how well we convert our chances into goals. We did have some great crosses from our wing backs, but there was no one to capitalize on them.

A couple years ago, our team was made fun of by saying that we parked the bus in front of the goal. Although it was a joke, it still showed how good our defense was. Today, just look at the amount of space we gave to the opposition! Their strikers would swiftly move past our defenders. On the other hand, West Ham's half was really crowded. It was them who parked the bus. Hazard wasn't able to shoot directly because of the lack of space. We had some great chances but we were not clinical at all!

Conte playing Bakayoko, I understand because Drinkwater. But benching Moses? Come on.

Supra for pundit 2k18 :D

Supra will soon be featured on Matchday Live

that happens when i get frustrated beyond anything

Today will be a tough match. Everton's been in a good run after Sam Allardyce was appointed manager. Also, Rooney is scoring.

Morata is suspended :/ I think we will play 3-4-3 again, with Hazard as a false 9. Definitely not worth risking Batshuayi in this match. Batshuayi is more of a power sub than a starter

Defense was great (one of our best defensive displays I have seen in a while)

Midfield was okay

But today our attack was totally clueless. It was as if everyone except Hazard experienced memory loss as soon as the ball entered the opposition's penalty box.

Chelsea 2 Brighton 0 :D

Our defense has been so good in the recent weeks. At the start of the season, it seemed like we would have a hard time keeping clean sheets, but now we are level with united. Sure, sometimes a mistake or two makes us concede a few goals, but that happens with every team ya know?

Chelsea 5 - 0 Stoke City! :D

This is the type of direct play we need, rather than depending on crosses from our wings all the time! My goodness, we had 3 goals from outside the penalty box today!

No, no. There's actually a good chance Hazard will move to Madrid. Not in this January window though. He will remain at Chelsea till summer at least. Hazard has been refusing to sign a new contract with Chelsea for a long time now. I heard Real Madrid have already made their opening bid of 120 million for Hazard.

The number 9 shirt is really a curse. It's so frustrating to see Morata miss easy chances. I really miss Diego Costa.

Courtois said that he's happy at Chelsea and he's close to signing a new contract! Woohoo

Yeah and Barcelona wanted me to sign a contract with them but I refused

Chelsea set to sign Ross Barkley from Everton for 15 million today.

Can't really see where he will play though. We are already at a position where we have to bench Willian and Pedro on a regular basis. It's a different thing if it's some top player but now we are talking about someone that was injured for months.

Well, at least we are signing someone. At least he will add to our squad depth.

(and possibly turn out to be actually a good player pls

As much as I like Mourinho for his achievements at Chelsea, sometimes he should really understand when to keep his mouth shut. He acts like some spoiled brat, saying stuff that are totally unnecessary. However he never names anyone in his comments and slowly waits for other managers to take the bait.

Conte gave a striking reply to his comments and I know Mourinho's gonna come back saying that he never mentioned anyone's name. But even Conte has his limits and the draw against Norwich added to his frustration.

Arsenal is infuriating. So many dumb challenges in the box. Nobody drives forward. It's just endless possession before getting beat on the break. Why weren't lacazette or ozil on the bench at least?
