These Ronaldo to Chelsea rumors are such a joke. The only reason why Ronaldo said he might leave Madrid is because he needs higher wages, to be on par with Messi. If a team like Madrid are not willing to meet his demands, I can't even imagine Chelsea paying Ronaldo 1 billion+ per week.

 

We are doing so bad in the transfer market. Ross Barkley's signing has overshadowed Chelsea's every other transfer rumor. Scrolling down the transfer news, all I can read are Liverpool, City and United rumors.

at this point arsenal can say goodbye to champions league next year

nah we've still got the europa league. We can obviously beat top of the table Napoli,  Athletico Madrid, or Dortmund (who fired their manager because they were performing poorly instead of giving him a new contract. What a concept) 

 

Arsenal has 2 options. 

1) if we are going to keep Kroenke/Wenger/Gazidiz, we need to tear down the roster. Sell Cech, Koscielny, Sanchez, Walcott, Welbeck and then buy young players like Malcom, Bailey, Pulisic, Ceballos, etc. We have money, but we refuse to use it, so we should bring in players before they are world class and cheaper, rather than getting in bidding wars with PSG and Man City, because we have not shown any interest in winning bidding wars. Some players will fail to live up to their potential, but if we do our scouting right we get enough hits to make it ok. We will lose games now, but ideally we would be putting together a really strong team for the future. Also we are already losing a lot of games while trying to win.

2) If we change ownership and managers and bring in people who are willing to spend, we would by more proven players. we should still move on from a lot of the guys i mentioned before, but we would be moving on because, with the exception of Sanchez, they aren't good enough instead of to make money.

What a thriller Liverpool vs City was!

 

That being said, Chelsea slipped to 4th place. We can't afford to lose anymore matches or else Tottenham will overtake us.

This would be incredible if true. However he does rely on his speed alot and is getting up there in age.

 

r\Rumors are we are getting Aubameyang, Malcom, and Mkhitaryan. Thats great but we would still have major issues defensively.

Not sure they are mate - they are self destructing while Wenger is having a whinge at referees - I guess he learnt something from Mou...Hopefully we get the top 6 at least ..

 

It just looks like the team has gone backwards this year - sloppy defending (poor Cech still waiting on that clean sheet) and poor finishing while one of our players seem bent on pulling a Flamini..
