3 - 0 Chelsea

I have to say, Batshuayi was splendid today. Till the end, he had his presence on the pitch.

Conte should give him more time to play. I know I complain a lot when Batshuayi plays bad, but that's a given, obviously a player will lack match fitness if they don't play regularly. He will score regularly if he improves his positioning. Let's not forget he scored 23 goals in a season for Marseille before he joined Chelsea. And no. Don't send him out on loan.

Hazard is the connection between our attack and midfield, and it was obvious from today's match. That's why playing him up front as a false nine didn't work well against Arsenal.

Morata set to miss Bournemouth clash. Conte, please play Batshuayi up front, and not Hazard as a false nine.

I would rather Dortmund buy Batshuayi than Giroud

I hope they don't get a replacement

Giroud going their way on a 6 month loan or permanent deal is on the table, but Giroud's wife doesn't want to leave London, which is why there are rumors of Giroud to Chelsea. But if Giroud wants to start, I don't think he would go to Chelsea unless he thinks Morata will keep struggling. I like Giroud, so I would hate seeing him in a Chelsea jersey, but if we get 35 million pounds for him (which is what Arsenal reportedly want), that would be tough to pass up.

Modeste is another guy Dortmund are interested in and they tried to sign him in the summer before he left for China.

Nah, I don't think Giroud to Chelsea will ever happen.

Batshuayi to Dortmund may or may not happen

Dzeko to Chelsea deal apparently failed. I can kinda understand why

Chelsea offer only one year contracts to players over the age of 30 (which doesn't make much sense to me) and also, we are only looking for a temporary solution to our goal scoring problems. Morata will start scoring sooner or later and what we currently need is someone to back him up. Dzeko, on the other hand, is demanding a longer contract. Chelsea are not willing to do so for someone who will probably act as only a back up to Morata. And his wage demands are also pretty high. Although Dzeko is in his early thirties, he's still in the form of his life and he definitely wouldn't want to risk the regular game time he's receiving at Roma. Also, Roma are asking more money than what we have to offer. Still early to say, but the deal almost looked impossible from the start. Chelsea are still ready for last minute negotiations though.

Anyways, we MIGHT announce Palmieri today.

I dont think its best for Giroud to go to chelsea. they will still start morata. And for just 15 million, Arsenal shouldn't give him to chelsea. Now Chelsea are looking at Llorente. Basically if you are a striker over 6'2" Chelsea are interested.

Palmieri deal complete

Ok, if Batshuayi ends up in Dortmund, I'm legit going to cry. Even if it's on loan, this is DORTMUND. Chances are high they will end up buying him and if he gets regular game time there, he will prefer remaining there.

Giroud is 31, Batshuayi is 24. This is Chelsea we are talking about. Once a player is loaned out, it's 90% of the time the end of their Chelsea career.

I just want the transfer window to shut down.

What an embarrassment. Credit to Swansea, but we were trash.

This summer we need to get a top quality GK. Go get Oblak or Donnarumma.  We also need new CBs( Evans and Luis aren't solutions, just band-aids) and a new CDM. I would like to see Kolasinac get a shot there because he cant be much worse than Elneny. And we need a new Manager. And a new owner. Getting Auba is nice, but we are still far off of Man City

Leicester should let Mahrez leave. He must be pretty good if clubs like City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Barcelona last summer are bidding for him. Plus he is at the peak of his career.

Auba to Arsenal done. Batshuayi spotted in Dortmund shorts. It actually happened?

Just waiting for the Giroud news now.

After emphatic wins over Brighton and Newcastle, Bournemouth seemed like an easy target. Liverpool lost to Swansea last week, so this was a good opportunity to maintain a good 3 point gap between us and Liverpool, further protecting our top three spot. We could have also jumped to 2nd place, considering United lost to Tottenham. We have matches against Barca, United and City, one after the another in February. Therefore, it is necessary for us to exploit all three points in such "easy" matches. Whom did we face? Bournemouth - the team that we have already defeated twice this season.

3-0 Bournemouth

On a second thought, this result was kinda inevitable. This was one of the our most thinnest squads ever. We played in a somewhat 3-5-2 formation with Pedro and Hazard up front. This was the only option Conte had, with Willian and Morata sidelined with injuries. Courtois came back after a bad injury and clearly lacked match fitness. Bakayoko does extremely well when play 4 men in midfield. He was so good against Brighton and did considerably well against Arsenal. When we play 3-5-2, it's like he isn't aware of what his role is.

At this point, every team in the league knows that this Chelsea team struggles when you press them high. Every single match, they all use the same strategy, waiting for the midfield to accidentally give the ball away and then they capitalize on those mistakes.

Morata and Willian still injured.

Come on, Conte. You got to start Giroud this time. We are gonna lose again if we play 3-5-2 with Pedro and Hazard as strikers. Plus Bakayoko plays really well in the 3-4-3 system.
