We did well. Bakayoko is going to be a beast next season. He performed well and controlled the midfield. Hazard being so good, I really think he deserved a goal/assist. Kante superb as always. Moses was excellent. So glad, we bought Giroud. And of course, Rudiger, the man who kept Salah in his pocket and completely silenced him.

 

The players need to pull themselves together for the last two games. And I hope Liverpool and Tottenham both lose their final matches. I definitely do not want to see Chelsea in the Europa League next season

Here are some Arenal rumors. I don't know how much stock to put into some of these

1) Alegri will replace Wenger and he had an informal agreement to replace Wenger last summer

2) the transfer budget will be closer to 120 million. I had seen everybody say it would be 50 million

3) Toby Alderweireld wants to leave Spurs and stay in London, and he has talked to people from Arsenal and Chelsea

4) Max Meyer is interested in Arsenal on a free. This was described as "confident it will happen"

5) Supposidly Ousmane Dembele is interested in joining Arsenal and Liverpool. I doubt this and i highly doubt Barcelona would sell him this soon.

The most outrageous story I have heard all day.

 

'N'golo Kante offered to Real Madrid in a Marco Asensio swap deal'

 

I mean, I don't even know where to begin. You're telling me, they are trying to sell N'Golo Kante, arguably one of the best DMs in the world and definitely one of the most consistent players out there, for Marco Asensio? I know Asensio is certainly a 'good' player but as of now, he's nothing more than just a bench warmer and I could only see him coming to Stamford Bridge and ending up like Morata. And losing Kante in exchange?

 

I don't want to see that happening even in my worst nightmares. Well, not like it would ever happen. I'm just going to disregard it as a bad, unfunny joke.

 

And not to mention, we are already in a mid-field crisis. I can't even begin thinking what would happen to Chelsea without Kante. I hope that the Chelsea board isn't dumb enough to let him go.

and "asensio is nothing more than a bench warmer" is harsh considering the people in front of him, like ronaldo and bale

I know there's people like Ronaldo in front him, that's the reason I said that. What I meant by 'nothing more than a bench warmer' was that the time currently given to Asensio in RM is not enough to speculate what he can truly offer to Chelsea and what his true potential and ability is. Even Morata performed exceptionally well in the little time he was given at RM. It's just too risky to sell Kante in exchange.

when we beat liverpool i thought we had a good chance of finishing top four if we win our last 2 games and liverpool/tottenham lost atleast one of their games.

 

we drew to huddersfield and then i thought, maybe just maybe if liverpool loses to brighton today and we win against newcastle we can still qualify for cl. i knew liverpool won't lose but still there was this little glimmer of hope left in my heart

 

even if liverpool wins against brighton, we can still have an honorable end to our league season with a win over newcastle. qualifying for cl is a different thing but i wanted chelsea to win their last

 

and now here i m wondering what went wrong and why in the world are we losing 3-0 to newcastle united

when we beat liverpool i thought we had a good chance of finishing top four if we win our last 2 games and liverpool/tottenham lost atleast one of their games.

 

we drew to huddersfield and then i thought, maybe just maybe if liverpool loses to brighton today and we win against newcastle we can still qualify for cl. i knew liverpool won't lose but still there was this little glimmer of hope left in my heart

for what its worth i would have prefered you made it over liverpool/tottenham/manu

i think Swansea, West Brom and West ham will go down. I think Palace and Stoke just stay up.

I want spurs, Watford and Man United to go down, but i dont think that will happen.
