I think it would improve gameplay for the people that want to shoot videos with even greater quality.

Completed - How to uncap FPS in HTML5

[stng] [imprv]

I think I remember this being suggested before and there was some explanation about an FPS limit on Flash that made it impossible to get over 60 FPS, or something like that. I don't remember any details, but just keep in mind that this might not be possible.

Correct, since version 10.1 frame rate has been limited to 60fps.

Don't bother downloading 10.1 as Tanki doesn't support it anymore, you can only chat and view the garage.

Bad news is, technically it can only handle up to 60 fps, and in rare cases you can flutter above that limit (from experience I have but it was brief and got right back to 60 lol)

Anyways Good news is:

Hazel has mentioned the long awaiting plan to transition to HTML5, which is a bit more powerful than Flash is xD (been developing in HTML5 and other languages for 2.5 years - only game I have written is a flappy bird remake lol)

Anyways, the max FPS for HTML5 depends most likely on the engine component, but can be significantly higher.

Only bad part is this can hurt the game - because most of the interlocking code (the game is just a giant puzzle from a developers view) each piece of code makes the others work, so if the FPS is messed up and not adaptive to lets say isda, you may have lag... with 75 fps... which wouldn't be the expected result.

Oh... and it turns out doing some quick digging the FPS limit is set by the BROWSER, not by Adobe...

My laptop monitor is 60hz max,, and in the game number of FPS didn't pass 60 FPS, I just want to know how max my laptop can do...

Btw, I don't think Tanki need more than 60 FPS, it's not that quick action game...

HTML5 is limited by your monitors refresh rate. For example my 95hz monitors will max out at 95 FPS in HTML5.

If you uncap FPS in HTML5 then you can get FPS rates higher than your monitor's refresh rate.

Thank you too much, yes it worked... I downloaded the client to test it.... Tried it in Island map with the minimum graphics settings, and it gives me a hot number of FPS ?
