old turret descriptions

When I first started playing TO in 2012, the description of the turrets were quite different from what they are now. The description used to tell what type of ammo each weapon used. I remember ricochet is plasma, but that's the only one I remember. Does anyone know the others or where I can find that archived? The present wiki doesn't go into any of that.

Hmm. I haven't seen em, but I could give probable speculations. If you need exactly what the game showed, and no most-likely-stuff, tell us, k? Tho Freeze is likely liquid nitrogen or so, Firebird is prolly napalm, Thunder is like highly-explosive ammo, Smoky is regular armour-piercing shells, Striker would be homing missiles, Magnum has explosive artillery shells, Isida has nanobots, Railgun's a kinetic weapon but thats all I can tell, and Shaft is a real mystery. :P

Old turrets, old descriptions:

 

Shaft: High-powered missile.

 

Freeze: Freon compound

 

Firebird: Napalm

 

Twins: Plasma

 

Ricochet: Plasma with "minus-field"

 

Smoky: Standard shell-launcher

 

Thunder: High-explosive shell launcher

 

Isida: Nanobots flowing within a magnetic field that would rip material from your enemy's hull and use it to repair yours.  (P.S. Back when paints had protections, digital and prodigi were said to be covered with repairing nanobots.)

 

Railgun: Hmmm... I wonder. :mellow:
