The profile we currently have at the moment reveals basic information about the player in the game. I couldn't help but noticed that everyone has the same plain boring profile and so here are my ideas for improvement.

 

 

Ideas:

 

1. Allow us to upload a picture of our face in our profile (Optional)

2. Allow us to add music in the background with a youtube URL link and players should be able to hear it when viewing player's profile (Optional) (Should have autoplay code for it)

3. Add context "About" [ therefore we know not only about the tank's information but the person inside the tank as well ] (Optional)

4. Add "Recent Views" that reveals the player's username + add their profile link directly when their username is clicked on by other players [ therefore we know who recently looked at your profile ] 

5. Able to choose our own background picture instead of having the tanki background (Optional)

6. Add birthday date [ Could be useful therefore players know what day/time to give garage gifts to the players on their special day ]

 

All this should make players know not only about the basic information of the tank but also the person who drives it.

 

The Good News: Will bring more diversity to every single player's profile

The Bad News: TankiOnline will not make profit off of this but will make the site more appealing

4. Not possible due to the fact that you're not logged into your account when viewing profiles, so it's impossible to tell which Tanki account the person has when they click on profiles. Not really necessary either.

The main problem is that you think that the Tanki profile is the same thing as a person't profile in a social network, where they share their personality and info about themselves. That's wrong. The profile in Ratings is the profile of your TANK and game account, not you as a person. So it should only contain game info, like stuff about what you have, what game modes and equipment you prefer, how long you play, etc. Personal info like picture, description and birthday are irrelevant here.
