magnum trajectory calculator

the trajectory equation is useless for gaming

the formula for range, time of flight and max height are useful but still not really

point to note, acceleration due ot gravity is 5 m/s^2 for Magnum

Wait, so Tanki gravity is lower than real life? Or is this just for the projectile?

To use this tool, you will have to calculate the projectile speed by getting the numbers from the wiki and your charge numbers, which are % numbers. If I am not mistaken, you will have to take the following formula:

Release velocity in m/s = Min projectile speed + ((Max projectile speed - Min projectile speed)/ #charge steps)  * %Charge / 5

example figures:

87.5 m/s = 35 + (140 - 35) /20 * 50/5

But I doubt that this will help one in the game  :P

I always listen to the reload sound to decide when to release the spacebar; it somehow makes me hit targets 7/10.

You'll get some sort of feeling for it.

And if you're camping just set Magnum to a decent angle which you shouldn't change unless you're going to camp on a different place. 30 degrees and 15-45% power is very usefull for me most of the time. I calculate from a few shots on the same angle to see where the projectile lands, and adjust me spacebar-time in between those ranges.
