Cedric, is there any possibility of making an exception for super missions? All other missions can only be completed in Non-Pro battles, but super missions count in all types of games. I think that would solve nearly all of the problems people have with this update.

I think this makes the daily mission chains too much of a hassle.

 

Sure I'll do missions when I can, but 3k crystals once a week is not worth the pain for causal players anymore.

Tanki wants $$ cuz they know that completing missions in non-pro battle needs the use of supplies and they also made supplies buyable in shop.

In a normal battle:

 

 

Drop box missions: people taking RK with full health, going for DA with no health, etc.

Finish first: Isidas not healing the player in first, other players not supporting him to hope they pass him in score.

Capture points: People letting the enemy get the point so they can re-capture it.

Capture flags: People deliberately blocking the flag-carrier so they die, and then they can pick up the dropped flag and capture it.

 

These missions were MEANT for pro battles.

 

Not to mention that pretty much everyone has a lower crystal/xp ratio now.  What about "effect on the economy", that phrase the devs like so much?

 

P.S. If I join at the beginning, I almost always finish first.  But what about those high-ranked players that don't have enough supplies to compete against M4 druggers and play pro battles for precisely that reason? Do you WANT to encourage multing?

So does that mean for 70 kills my reward goes from 12 DA & 14 Speed .... all the way up to .... 13 DA & 15 Speed?    WOW!

What a ridiculous update! Did you ever seen a game that change almost once every week? Daily Mission can only be achieved in non-pro battle, are you freaking serious? Why not use your pathetic brains to think for a second, what if we want to play with our friends and achieve missions together? What if there is 9999 kills mission?

 

Tanki is dead now, this game becomes hopeless and stupid due to these weekly updates. Guys, do not fall into their traps, stop paying money to this non-sense game, there are better games out there like World of tanks, at least they will not change their game much often.

The price for M3 MUs did not change, so yes - they are not cheaper.

 

For lower modifications each individual step may have become more expensive, but the overall upgrading price (without speed-ups) is now 2x cheaper.

I'm still bothered by drugs not being changed AT ALL. It's obvious they need fixing--drugging doesn't just beat skill a few times, or even fifty-fifty; drugging beats skill almost nine times out of ten. Of course, people could go into PRO battles, but since daily missions can't be completed there, more non-druggers like me are forced to drug in normal battles to complete their missions, or not drug in them and suffer. Seriously, what was the reason for the daily missions update? Was it to give more of an incentive for people with the PRO battle pass to play in normal battles, and not leave people without the PRO pass out? That makes sense. But please, rethink this update. Maybe making the PRO pass cheaper will close the gap.

Why do you think they took away option to complete missions on Pro-Battles?

 

They want us to use more supplies. That is only way to complete missions now. Use up more supplies than you gain as reward!

You made modifications every week. Important modification which ruined the investments we done here. Now you messed up the missions too.

 

I'll quit playing. Let me know if you'll abort at least this last stupid modification of the missions, maybe I'll come back.

Are you guys really that foolish to make the missions only regular battles. That is one of the reasons I buy a pro pass. Now people will be picking up boxes instead of playing and who can blame them. I also dont want to spend my time in drug wars just to complete missions. I have been playing less and less this just might do it. You change my twins completely after i bought it for what it was so then I have to buy the alteration to make it what it was when I bought it and now I spend 5000 cry on a pro pass and cant use it half the time. You guys are terrible at business. You make your customers want to go away. I will spend no more money on tanki until you change the missions back. This is the dumbest thing you have ever done. I hate drug wars and now you force me to be in them if I want to complete missions. Wow just Wow. I cant believe you did that.

I made a choice since a while a back. I opted for what suits me best and for what I enjoy most. The drugs free games, and that's what I really want to do.

For now, and with this Daily Missions update, I would like to say:

- Goodbye super-missions.The only super one I might take into consideration with something like 5 to 10% is the Viking XT's skin or whatever it's gonna be.

- I think that part of the fun in the game is somehow ruined, and your restriction is gonna put some players in difficult and pathetic situations while they are doing their missions. Think about it.
 

As for me, I'm most likely taking a long break then I'll see what to do next. Time will tell  :P

After all, it's been 3 long years of intense playing, which seems too much for a guy like me.

Hi I'm the guy who left in a meltdown over the sale not being announced thus costing me 70k Cr when I bought a kit the day before.

Tanki's response was not: "Let's do a professional job and announce our sales" it was "Let's punish our players by removing kit discounts."

 

Tanki's response is always to try to browbeat their customers into paying more money. This is what is happening again. They are opening the Legend rank down to CAPTAIN for God's sake, plus, they are forcing these Legends to play in non-Pro battles. 

 

1) It gives Tanki's whales the easy-to-kill victims these losers expect and demand for their hundred dollar a month or more addiction. These players keep Tanki in business. The whales want easy noobs to kill so we will give them easy noob to kill.

 

2) The Daily Mission player now finds it harder to do missions and thus get drugs.

 

3) The Daily Missioner is now faced with m3+ people drugging with enthusiasm, which means counter-drugging is even more important.

 

In Tanki's mind this player punishment will convert Daily Mission players into 25 to 50 dollar a month players. Because they will need the drugs, see? And the only choice then is to buy the drugs, see?  Tanki Marketing 101: Punishment will Lead to Profits

 

But what really happens is this.

 

1) Some players get fed up and leave quickly.

 

2) Other players shift from doing 3 missions / day to just 1 / day in order to keep the chain going. IOW they start playing less. Ans once you start playing less the next step is playing not at all.

 

You see to sell gaming you have to stimulate the pleasure centers in the brain. This has the player wanting to play more and to value game play more. Then you have them on the hook. 

 

Policies that result in the player playing less is, OTOH, counterproductive to the profit motive.

 

I'd say I was upset at all this but I am not. I lost my last scrap of respect for the Tanki company last month. Now that I expect nothing I am never left feeling let down. But I am enjoying a good bit of schaudenfreund over this episode. Adios now while I go back to laughing my fool ass off.
