I just want to know why this was done. This means PRO pass will be made obsolete?

There are good reasons, many abused the system for their gain. 1 flag battles was just a tip of the iceberg. Not fair for those that played right or did their missions in regular battles.

 

But their solution to the problem is flawed. I think they'll fix it somehow.

Come back and comment when you are trying to complete missions against opponents with 50% Protection modules against your one or two M3 weapons.

 

The difference between legend XX and Captain (LOL Captain) is waaaaaaaaay greater than the difference between what you have at 3rd Lt and some M2 equipment. Most M2s would only be partially MU-ed (except for buyers). But legends upgrade everything all the way.

Its not just m2+ vs M2. Its m2 and change vs m1. Most (of equipment that is MUd) MUs are partially upgraded, but M2.2 against M1 is still slaughter. Remember drugs accentuate the disparity. Near sighted, lucky, and buyers have the advantage. 

I'm not really tempted to waste a cent on MUs right now, I have 1 M2 turret, and while I'm hurting for hulls, I have get m2 isida on this next sale. Sales P1ss me off because they aren't on at the same time, nor in the right order. I'd rather have everything be on sale for a week, rather on day each type. I am glad that they revamped the MU sale, but I wish I could save the on difference between my MU level and the next M level. (e.g. M1.6 isida, if I want to buy M2 I have to pay full price, when I wish I could M2 for the remaining price of upgrades. I believe the no return point is around m-.7

Check out the livestream with Hazel Rah. He clearly says there that a game without updates is a dead game, so you may not want updates, but the game needs them to keep the players in it.

Never saw a so bigger resistance to an update in RU1. #RemoveNobbUpdate or you will get Guerrila and lost lots of players

Je pense que le fait de ne pas pouvoir faire de missions en PRO-battle détruit l'âme de TO, si on ne peut pas les faire à quoi ça sert d'acheter pour 5000 cry un PRO-battle pass, c'est incohérent. Les PRO-battle font partie du jeu :c'est discriminatoire.

Check out the livestream with Hazel Rah. He clearly says there that a game without updates is a dead game, so you may not want updates, but the game needs them to keep the players in it.

A game with too frequent harsh updates with unforeseeable moves forward and backward can die too in a self-constructed maze. Hazel shouldn't ride extremes. This is not vivid, this is instability.

 EXACTLY , 40k , while 2 years ago 120k was at daily basis , now u cant get 120k not even durring big events ..........doesent that ring a bell?

Besides , this update literaly punched in the face every old player, who already know how to somehow overcome this with the help of friends, alternate accounts etc ,  but how do u expect any of the new players to keep playing or succeed in the game when there is this haotic set of restrictions?.....well they dont

Really? Note that in fact Tanki had 120k to 150k (weekends) players daily playing about 1 year ago ... btw before they decided to HIDE the number of online players!

 

What is your opinion about that? Is it the result of good development? Or you could mention global crisis (a couple of years late)

 

Nothing personal, Maf, but this update is really one of the worst I have ever seen. It is absolutely bad and even offensive to who invest money and time to make this game great. And remember that players are your most valuable asset, both players and payers, because there would be no payers without players!

Pro battles are no more space for nice game, spy from words of tank camed and make ths game full of nobs buyers and critical low brain activity.

 

One of the most stupid and racist and oob update.

Same racist noob, was only PRO pass can make battle.

Now no metter, olny draging nob buyers do mision,.

 

10% found more

300% more problems with nobs who use med kit and double all nob things.

 

Make some special serwer for stupid nazis on this update,

all gicve all the rest play  play normal battle mode.

The statement was the the game is "dead". 40k players is by no means "dead", so the argument is invalid.

Now, whether or not the game is "dying" is a completely different question and I say that even though the game is losing players, that's not necessarily because of "bad updates", but rather because the game is simply old and outdated. Players are getting bored of it and leaving, while potential new players come to similar games, which are more modern and superior.

Heck, devs never even expected Tanki to blow out of proportion like that, so whatever happens at this point, it's impossible to deny that the project has been a huge success.
