I have completed three supermissions already, but that was when format battles stats counted in their kills/experience. I got so much exp and kills and Poly CP XP/BP but now its hard :3

yea but its worth playing now cause its more of a challenge instead of a free ride.. i enjoy a good battle there just to get more awake to battle here .. i find battles here are loosing there luster and shine /and why players are board of playing.. I only do mission here besides last weeks contest and even then I found only a few days were a challenge on Russian servers but over all i just kill to waste my day away.. Which I should be more on tanki X but I have crystals and time still put into my account this is why i have not moved over fully yet..

My explanations generally takes lots of time and usually there are not that many people to agree with me. This is why anything you can see in VLOG sounds like bollocks :) Have to cut longer explanations to shorter ones.

 

And I tend not to take part in hellstorm discussions during updates as they are not discussions at all. Emotions, most of the time. My job is not to convince people of anything, this is why my involvement is almost pointless. Most of the time I discuss only upcoming changes otherwise the only thing I achieve is making people more angry. Which is what will probably happen after this comment but oh well.  Yes, for many of the younger players the reaction is an emotion based primarily on, I might say, selfish instinct.  But there are plenty of players here that have given you many reasons.  

 

Tanki Online is changing. Modern concepts of convenient gameplay experience demand matchmaking system. It is proven concept and work quite good for new generation of games. Tanki Online stuck in the past in this regard. But moving overnight from current battle list to MM won't be easy and will require some adaptation.  I say, and I think many here agree with me, that it is better for Tanki Online to be "stuck in the past" , while the devs work on small improvements. The majority of players here do not WANT Tanki Online to change too much, they just want some universal issues fixed.  What's so bad about being in the past? It makes this game unique and I'm sure you know Tanki's uniqueness is what attracts a lot of players. 

We don't want a copy of another, more modern game, because, (no offense) they'll be better. If you just want to follow the crowd then we might as well play a different game.  We like Tanki for what it is.

 

The closest case to Tanki Online is Team Fortress in regards of matchmaking update. Previously TF was almost like TO with server list, but they changed it around a year ago. That wasn't easy but it was worth it in the end. Though TF did not removed server list (battle list in regard to TO) entirely. What they did they left it as a custom game option.

 

This is where Tanki Online is going as well.  As I said, just trying to copy other games will destroy what makes TO, TO, and will put off many players who were attracted to earlier versions.  If a player is looking for a more modern game there are hundreds out there, but there is only one like TO. Please keep it that way.

 

Eventually we will introduce Matchmaking system that will handle rank difference and battle creation just as easy as in Team Fortress or Overwatch. By the push of a button. Current battle list will move to custom game option. You can say that battle list will be only available via pro-battles (they might be free of charge in this case) and will be highly customizable.

Listen, I do not think you understand many of the players here. You want to take away battle creation and all that because you think it makes the game more casual and relaxing. In fact it does not. The game was relaxing to begin with. Updates like this only spoil the fun and make it a chore. Your intent is okay but the way you go about it is totally wrong.

 

In this regard this update cons doesn't outweigh the pros. On the contrary this update does work as intended. As there is no intent on my side to encourage players to take part in custom games (which are pro-battles at the moment) to the detriment of normal games. The only reason to play custom games in the future will be the urge for new experience, as these days it is mostly wasp+firebird (you can argue it is not, but I got the numbers). No, the cons do outweigh the pros. People are not buying more because they cannot complete their missions easily. On the contrary, battles are infested with mults and drop-box campers, people who will not help the person in first place because they want to pass him, people letting the other team capture the point so they can re-capture it, people blocking the flag-carrier so they can pick it up and capture it.  

I agree that normal games should have more players, but this is not the way to do it. Some of these missions were meant to be completed in PRO battles where they do not bother anyone.

The other main problem is the supplies system. If supplies were nerfed people wouldn't feel like you are herding them up and feeding them to the wolves.   

And, players are leaving the game or promising not to buy anything. You can see for yourself.

You also need to do something about the economy. The game's economy was balanced for free players before. Now, most only complete one mission a day, and a lot of them break their chains. Now, for those that most need the crystals, they cannot get it.  Now it is much harder to save up for competitive equipment.

Also, the missions helped the people who made bad decisions.  They would be at Major with no crystals and M1s. Well, they could start an alt and play on that, and only complete missions and then log off from their main.  In this way they could build up many crystals to become competitive again. But it took time. Now, players like those will probably quit. Do you want Tanki to be a type of game where one mistake can ruin your "military career"?

 

Team Fortress and Overwatch might give you a sneak peek on how this system will work in Tanki Online when implemented. Quick and easy matchmaking is supported by highly customizable custom game list. There is interesting moment to OW as they removed experience gain in custom games shortly after they introduced that option to the game as players quickly found a way to grind EXP with minimal effort by certain game options. Something for you to think about. Listen, we don't care about XP. We players only care about crystals so we can have competitive equipment and the game is actually fun.  

Don't think of me as some selfish person only wanting more crystals because everyone wants crystals. I've seen the effects to the game and the economy. It is not balanced for free-players after you introduced this update.

 

I believe it might be worth arguing whether we should or shouldn't change the game at all, but this will not work for Tanki as it works for other games there are. This game going to reach 8 years in action this year. Most games update their system by releasing new version and forcing players to migrate to new versions starting from scratch. A bad idea for Tanki Online as we can see it with at least Tanki X's case.

 

Choosing between forcing everybody to grind through the game all over again and forcing to deal with non-easy updates I choose the latter.

I really couldn't care less. "Working as intended" has many meanings. What Hazel intents may not always be what is best, or even what you think he intends. 

 

Misafeco and I have presented logically the problems with this update. We've all seen it happen in standard battles.

If people fire-wasp and gain millions of xp, how does it hurt the economy?

They have more crystals, but also rank up faster.

The economy is only hurt when buyers get equipment which unlocks much later and MU it to the next modification, and use supplies all the time.

 

It is very hard for us to finish first against such people.

Please allow missions to be done in pro battles.

 

You can ban them in private battles.

 

I always liked to play xp/bp for 1 hour and complete missions that way, everyday.

This update forces me to play 1 hour drug battle for just 1 mission, and most people who have played xp/bp will agree that drug wars aren't that much fun as a polygon no supplies game.

 

Please listen to the community and revert this update.

Well i plan to start playing back after the 23rd april maybe, if tanki doesnt make changes, it can wave goodbye to my money and im sure im not the only one in this position

Every system can be abused. Just remove every mission except XP missions if you don't want to give players easy crystals. But forcing them to play drug allowed battles is a crime. I play to have fun. No fun = goodbye Tanki.

 

 

Every day passes tanki becomes weaker and more worse updates ,RIP Tanki  Online 2009-2017

 

Now here i officially say my good bye after 4 years of playing this game,gonna play other games of miniclip 

 

 

 

Top reasons for this can be 1.No fairness anymore (P2W) 2.Noob updates,Noob servers,Noob bugs;=Noob testers;Devs 3.No semyon anymore :D

4.Lag <3   5.Devs dont take care of players anymore (its bloody noticeable  that devs want to destroy the game ,so why playing it xD)

 

The best moments of this game FOR ME was 2013-2014 ,before Noob micro upgrades and Noob graphic and camera updates ,that time everybody was happy and everything was quite well and fair,servers were amazing ...

You could put those missions in the second category which can be completed easily by misusing pro battles like finish first in a battle,etc. , the probable reason you made this update in the first place.

Well there's no problem if everyone does it like that. This update had to happen in the first place because people abuse it by creating island 1 flag battles to complete it.

Remove Island and other lame maps like Arena, Ping-Pong, etc. They're only good for powerleveling anyway.

I was thinking about different missions for PRO Passes too.

 

Let's say you don't have PRO Pass, you look at your missions: Finish 1st, 5 Speed Boosts and 500xp in battles. But this day you don't want to suffer in regular battles, you buy a PRO Pass, go to check your missions again and you'll see that they are the same 3 missions you saw before, you slowly start to curse "shh...",  "where are my PRO Missions Dante was talking about?" you ask, then you notice something you didn't noticed before, at the top of each mission it says Regular Battles, "then where the blip are my PRO Missions?!" you yell, "maybe I have to click the Change button" you think, and you do just that, now you see a new mission, it looks different and at the top it says PRO Battles. "Ohkay".

 

You can change the other missions for free the following days, unless you pay to change the remaining 2 missions to PRO with crystals.

 

"what PRO mission he/she got?" the reader asks.

 

'Earn 500 Experience in Massacre'

 

Yep, that's how Map Missions returned to Tanki, and everyone live...

If they do that then those mission would be lower in items  or crystals , due to the fact you gain more in pro battles then in regular and your back in the same boat as to give special treatment to pro pass holders . not everyone can afford to buy pro passes .. this is why tanki took missions of pro battles..plus other reasons

Good point. Or lower PRO Passes so more people can escape the drug lords.

 

If they lower the rewards of PRO Missions, they could also add 'Finish 1st in Island Map' Mission for a reward of '1 Speed Boost'. jk

You are not expected to complete them "fast". Actually, every day you normally get at least one mission which you can complete fairly easily, like collecting boxes or earning some experience. Such missions can be easily completed without using any of your own supplies, if you do not wish to waste them. On the other hand, things like "finish first 3 times", "catch a gold box", "earn 99999 exp" are not expected to be done in a day, so you can either change them or complete them over a course of some days/weeks/months. As long as you complete one simple mission a day, you still get the weekly chain rewards.

If they can't even afford Pro Pass, how will they be competitive in regular battles?

 

Pro Pass price is nothing compared to equipment/MU/drug prices.

If you look through this topic, you'll find that this mission is the one people complain about most, because it's so hard to be first when there are buyers and druggers in your team getting experience way quicker than you.

Atleast remove this change for the super missions, you guys want non-buyers to vs buyers that too in drug battles to get their butt kicked?!! Almost 70 pages of people disagreeing with this change especially for supermissions.. Use your head devs...
