[Declined] We should vote on updates

Recently, New updates have come up that I didn't really like. Even my friends don't think that they are good. But tanki still follows through with the update. I think that people should vote on updates before they are released in the game. An example is the paint separation update. In this update, modules were removed and new ones were added. Many people didn't like this update. If people voted on this update, they could have stopped it.

A vote does not reflect whether an update is good or bad. Most players vote based on first impressions (which are often false), or even simply vote the same opinion that others voted. This is why we encourage players to leave their individual feedback in the news topics, rather than as a vote on a poll, because it gives developers much better insight about what players think and how they feel about it.

Developers Perspective Time!!!

 

If I had a poll for everything I worked on I wouldn't get anything but writing polls. 

 

Seriously. 

 

In  Tanki's world, they test everything that needs to be tested before they release it, or at least have a hypothesis. 

 

Coding is like Teaching, you have to plan it out and go by the books. 

 

The Suggestions section of this forum (which ironically speaking this was suggested) is the best way to communicate what you would like to see in a future update. 

 

Every idea, under review invalid declined etc. will be looked at eventually just to get inspiration. 

 

Anyways. Hazel even said this wouldn't be possible to listen to everyone. Because quite simply it is too time consuming. Complaints? well let em fly. I have a whole list myself soem of which are glitches I have seen with my own eyes which can easily be prevented.
