saw this at jimmy johns on a poster. It mostly works like this. You HAVE to have the first and last letter be in the right place, and the words around it have be put together right (like using context clues)

The English community is most unforgiving, especially those who go on and on about using the search and gravedigging. You have two options:

1. Use the search to find a topic.

2. Make a new topic without using search.

Their outcomes:

1. You get banned for necroposting, and people scrutinize you for gravedigging.

2. People tell you to use search.

 

So, after reading number two, they would then do number one, so on and so forth. So, what are we supposed to do? And someone tell me where in the rules it says that gravedigging is against the rules!

I could not believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what orderthe letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place.

 

The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole.

 

Amazing huh? Yeah, and i always thought spelling was important!

IMO, Grave digging is acceptable unless its done just for the purpose of grave digging. That's what people forget. Mods have to differentiate between a "bump so others can see" and "bump so people get annoyed"

1 - The search is not meant to find topics to post in. It's meant to found questions' whose answers are already answered.

2 - If the thread is already existing and they stopped posting on it, it means that it was an interesting thing but nobody cared it anymore. So it's not meant to be bumped or to make similar posts.
