Now these golds that I might get on Polygon CP XP/BP won't count towards my gold mission :(

They can't remove the mission update because it solves many abuse issues which affected Tanki and honest missioners.

They can fix it though:

- By allowing special missions to be completed in PRO.

- Coming up with better missions, some easy missions, along other tweaks.

- And addressing the drug abuse in Regular Battles.

It is also an opportunity for them to lower the price of PRO Passes, so more people can go relax there after their hard missionary work.

It solves nothing. You can still easily abuse the system. The one thing that changes is that pro battle players are screwed.

I don't think so.

Indeed it is. The map is Novel. Desert map does not have two adjacent trees, much less two adjacent trees with a DA in between them. Neither does it have two adjacent red houses. The map Novel does, however, have both of these. I checked it myself. I'd advise you to do so also.

That is what we are saying, your duty is to help players not advise them to leave game.

Nobody like this update, do you want all players to leave?

If you don't like Cedric's post would you ask him to leave Tanki?

Okey, you're making good points here, allow me to try and explain.

First, let me get this off my chest: I'm not a moderator, it isn't my duty / job to deal with anyone. I'm a newspaper reporter with no powers outside the newspaper. However, I try my best to handle the forum and chat when I feel I'm needed, not because I need to, but because I want to. Vigilance.

Now, I'm gonna break down you post into sections:

"That is what we are saying, your duty is to help players not advise them to leave game."

The moderators duty, as you put so well, is not to advise players to leave. So, the obvious difficulty arises; if that's so, why did I advise a player to leave? Well, think of it this way: certain players (we'll discuss how many soon, when I get to the next part of your post) aren't ready to accept anything. When the devs produce an update, they often give their reasonings, and in my perfectly honest opinion, their reason for this update is quite a reasonable one. But, when people decide to ignore the devs reasons and automatically go for the alternative "player invented" reason of "Tanki's doing it for money", and put on a show without even trying to look at both sides, it's kind of hard to make them happy. So, what do I advise those players to do? Leave. Not because it's a bad update and if they don't like it they should leave, but because they simply won't accept anything I tell them.

What I'm saying is, there are certain players who you can talk to and certain you can't. Some seem to enjoy arguing while other simply want their voice to be heard. I, personally, like to debate, but I only can if the other party is willing to accept, think, and compensate what I'm telling him. You can look at previous updates, and I did have a few conversations with people who disagreed with me, but only the ones who were willing to listen.

You can't debate with a lion, because it doesn't really care what you have to say. It'll just interrupt you mid-sentence and end the debate, in a sort of permanent way. Now of course, I'm not saying some players here are lions, but you get the idea.

"Nobody like this update, do you want all players to leave?"

Nobody? Well, I believe that's an exaggeration. Perhaps a handful of players don't like the update, but quite a few do. I dislike it, but I'm accepting it because I understand it's for the greater good (see the reason the devs gave).

Now, just read the paragraphs above. I for sure don't want all players to leave, and I definitely don't want them to be forced to accept something they don't want. What I want is players who don't like the update to make their voice heard, but in a normal way. I don't want to see (excuse me for using this overly formal word) inappropriate content being spewed at helpers, or anyone. No one deserves to be called names because they agree with what the devs implement to the game. I want their to be calm debates with constructive criticism; the game needs feedback, not harassment.

Voice why you like or don't like the update and why, no need for "riots".

"If you don't like Cedric's post would you ask him to leave Tanki?"

You know, if Cedric acted the way that guy did, which is highly unlikely, I'd probably advise him to shut it as well. But the problem is, Cedric wouldn't act like that.

Cedric has the position he has because he doesn't act like that.

So, that's my say, you can either get back to me with epic comeback saying I'm just a blabbermouth, or you can read what I've said and take it to heart. The choice is yours.

Question about this contest... if I catch, say, 10 golds (I'm good at golds k), do I have a x10 chance of getting the Magnum?

I can't tell you for certain, but I don't think so. I think once a player catches a gold box worth 5k, 10k, or 50k, he's entered into the contest and that's it.

Remember, you're only entered into the contest if you catch a gold box worth 5k, 10k, or 50k. 1k golds won't get you an entry.

A handful?

If your definition of a handful is ... say.... 80-90%, then you're bang on! <_<

I'm sorry, you're 100% correct. I misspoke. Apoligize. Just ignore that sentence.

Maybe you do not realize that the people in forum, are less than 50% of the no. of people who actually play the game..

I agree with you on that. Where I disagree is with the removal of the update, and I don't think they'll remove it.

That move will necessary for them, is bad for PRO players who payed for the Pass, then relied on missions for their incomes, assuming honestly, and some even embarked in long special missions.

In my view they need to come up with good solutions for those people, at least temporary solutions until their PRO Pass expires and their special missions are complete.

The game may need to change, and devs have the right to change it, but they should have some consideration with their users.

The solutions I'm talking about are for dealing with the drug abuse so the game is more balanced or create PRO Missions.

Let's see if they do anything.

A lot of people are complaining in the chats and in battle chats too.

And when people have the same concerns, they come together and come up with interesting solutions. Not as easy as 1 flag battles in Island, but they are good or bad, depending on your morals. ;)

Finish 1st, Flags, Points, Kills and Supply missions are easy to cheat, that's why I'm for Experience missions.

Seriously - that's your best effort?

You would pretend that most gamers have no issue with this update? And how are you polling the other > 50%?

At best, you are being disingenuous.

guys this up date is to help make tanki move to a better system , right now its hard to adjust to learning it. but in due time you will and you will enjoy the new improved tanki ,

Really. We will come to "enjoy" it in due time.  LMAO.  Those are, like, the famous last words of a king before a revolution begins because of his new policy.

And I honestly don't know what the word "improved" is doing in there. Sure it's fine for you, you have M4s and drugs. What about the Gismos who don't?

this mission thing is what is the complaints are about and

they pushing  players into getting pro pass and most get it cause of this , and now there complaining..

1) who was complaining about what?  Why would any gamer care about how another is completing their mission?  Now I can't even complete my own missions. I don't recall any forum had 74 pages of complaints about two people capping flags in Island. But there's 74 pages of complaints here.

2) How are they pushing players into Pro-Pass?  I bought a Pro-Pass to avoid drug battles. How I avoid drug-battles if I have to do my missions with.... wait for it.... .... druggers?

If they are bringing in this mystical "matchmaking" system, why the heck did they do the mission updates now?  They should have waited to change the mission-setups when "matching" was implemented.  Instead, they give the shaft (no pun intended).

I can't find regular battles that don't have Legends. I can't compete with their Protection and supplies. So I hate it, and the ones on the team I'm playing for are handicapped - so I doubt they like it either.

The Question at the last part of the video: The Map Is Novel

The Answer to question of the week is NOVEL MAP.

I want to point out to you that answers to the Question of the Week are no longer accepted in forum, social media, or in-game chat, but only on our form, from which we will randomly select 20 winners from among the correct entries. Only those who have a correct answer and the luck to be one of the 20 chosen get the 5000 crystals.

Reverse the mission update. Bad effect on gameplay of standard battles and bad effect on the economy.

Great event! :) Nice gold boxes!  It's not going to make me forgot the mission update or stop protesting, but I'll judge the holiday on its own merit. :)
