[Declined] micro upgrade and its problems

i initially bought mo rikochet and started upgrading it. but before i can fully upgrade it i got promotion in rank.

after promotion m2 rikochet became available for purchase. but i continued upgrading my mo turret. now i have fully micro upgraded mo turret. but even though i dnt get m1 turret for free from game.

its not understandable why it is so because it is promised from game that once u fully upgrade ur turret u will get its upgraded version i.e. in my case m1 rikochet for free but it not so.

as per my  logic game should give me m1 turret for free. i will upgrade  it or will buy m2 it should be upto me. but how can it deny what is promised earlier?

If you already unlocked the next modification before you could get the previous one for free by having full MUs, then it's no longer beneficial for you to get that modification. Basically, if you have a fully upgraded M0, but M2 is already unlocked, it means that M1 is too weak at your rank and there's no point for you to have it, so you should just save up and buy M2 (or M3 when it unlocks).
