Players that are willing to pay money on that feature, do not harm the gameplay by their need to harvest kills. So it will improve the game play for some, while it harms it for none.

 

The players that worked hard on their k/d will still stand out, as it will be visible, that they have to many kills and deaths that fit to their rank and xp's, so that other will know that there was no reset necessary.

 

Still some would buy that.. and so tanki would get more income. More income = game longer up and running = good for all as well.

They can be proud of what they achieved. If they never reset their K/D, this will be seen on their profile, since they will have a larger number of kills compared to those, who reset the K/D.

By reseting your K/D, the players could start from the scratch and so, this new K/D would show their CURRENT skills and abilities, and it would avoid judging everyone by their K/D (which basically shows nothing about the player).

There are too many players with a low K/D due to the account they use is the one which they started with, and they don't wanna abandon their accounts due to the progress they have reached.

For example, I started playing TO with this account, and that's why my K/D is currently 0.97; and I won't abandon my whole progress. Does someone think I'm a noob? Let's prove my skills in any battle mode he/she wants.

Gotta love attacking in Camp/Madness/Edin STG's. I've had 150 deaths, no kills and me killing the defender who was in the Gold only for some random noob to come flying and steal my Gold. -_-

Who are K/D conscious have worked hard to get a get a good K/D maybe tanki should introduce next a way to get 

A higher overall ratings by buying crystals or having our names showing up in most experience earned or crystals

Earned every week by also buying crystals.

 

I don't care if you don't like your K/D others have worked hard to get a good K/D , if you don't like your K/D

Then work hard to change it, that is the way to get a better K/D.

It's better to ignore that the K/D ratio is there.

We don't need to see how many tanks we destroyed, and how much we were destroyed. It's just a number.

It will never stay perfect even after we reset it.

You might have an error one day during gameplay, and get destroyed again and again, ruining your K/D ratio once more.

Then you'll buy another reset and waste more money, only to continue your stressful K/D management.

 

So ignoring the K/D makes your gameplay much more fun, and less stressful.

The way I see this is that you'd be able to reset your K/D for a fresh start by completely erasing all the kills and deaths you have on your profile, which would set your K/D to zero. However, to prevent your rating getting messed up, the actual number of kills and deaths would stay in Tanki's system to calculate your rating, while the numbers on your profile would be there just for show.

 

I know that a few people say that this is a useless feature because the K/D doesn't matter, but I also know that we got multiple ideas and complaints about people wanting to hide their K/D from the profile, so I think a lot of players would use this. Besides, it's another source of revenue for Tanki.
