I've been playing this game for about a year and a half, and the first major update I can remember was when all of the M3 equipment was moved to Marshal rank. Things have been going steadily downhill since then. Maybe I should just switch over to Tanki X.

Do you know the Tanki Developer's Motto?

"If it's not broken, FIX IT UNTIL IT IS!"

To improve Tanki, just get rid of THIS update and the LAST update.  Fiddling with 10% rewards for kicking Tanki players in the nuts is NOT going to make things better.

It's the default rank bracket. In the battle creation window, this can still be manually adjusted to the maximum rank bracket.

um I played with legends once during the patch #453

Thought I'd let everyone know a specific case of how the Tanki missions update is forking players over.

I had a DM mission today.  I searched all seven EN servers for battles.  Not being able to use PRO missions meant my choices were SEVERELY limited. In fact, on all seven servers, there were just two non-pro battles I could even enter.  BOTH were dominated by players who were SEVEN RANK LEVELS ABOVE ME.

Thanks, Tanki, for making my "daily" missions IM-FORKING-POSSIBLE.

Tanki-X makes all this look good.

I am up to Level 15. I am often playing level 21+ who drop down to kill weaker tanks. Further, early evening USA, well, 8 to 16 players are typically all that are playing. It is hard to get battles. Missions are called quests, and there is only one, kills. Early, you only need to kill 10. Not hard, but your equipment is sluggish. Later, it goes to 15. I find about 20% of players in CTF get 15 or more kills. Almost have to play DM. I mostly play ONLY DM so I can get my kills. Also, rewards for quests are minimal.

Overall, I don't think Tanki-X is nearly as good as Tanki. Sadly, Tanki now is a shadow of what it was two years ago.

If you have a mission for a certain battle type, turn off the others and hit the battle button. You will start a battle with you in the middle rank it will be the type of battle chosen. That is, if you need DM, turn off CTF, CP, and TDM. Hit the battle button, and you will be placed in a random map of DM. Of course, you will be the only one in at first, but be patient. They usually fill up.

However, I often go to Russian servers. I often have to sort through six to ten servers before I find an appropriate battle. Sorry, that is Tanki now.

BTW, Tanki motto for a while now: "Use or lose."

You don't have to buy. You can earn enough supplies and crystals if you get at least one mission every day so you get the four-week chain bonus every week. You must wisely use supplies, because as is, and as has been for the last few months, use or lose. Use frugally, but use or lose. If you want to get flags, you must have supplies. Same for golds. (I don't bother much with golds. I average about one per month.)

I have noticed one bright spot in this update. Much of it seems a wash, a little good mixed with a little bad.

I do think you found a good fix for something that bothers me. That is, setting "Battle" button for Gismos to a high limit of Gismo is very useful.

I find that nearly all legends are using fully MU'd equipment (20 of 20 microupgrades on both turret and hull, with a good protection module). I also find most of them to be experienced and skilled.

Setting the battle button to create battles with ranks between brigadier and generalissimo takes out most M3+ combinations, and it keeps skill levels closer to my own.

Since I've voiced complaint about most updates for the last several months, I figured I should comment about the good. I do figure Tanki, as a whole, is trying, but the tries have been mostly failures since the great levelling that took away most of the distinctiveness of the different hulls, and somewhat the turrets. I keep finding the game almost as much frustration as enjoyment. I am only still playing because of hope that you figure it out. I hope you figure out how to bring that old fun back into the game.

Tanki just keeps getting worse and worse.

Get rid of the missions change.  Roll back this pointless crap.  90% of the last two updates has been BAD for Tanki and Tanki players.

Thought tanki X was based on Mastery of equipment, and battles are filtered on that.

I agree the hulls are slow, and turret rotation has a LOT of lag. Tanks bounce and move like jalopys.

Tanki is a great game.

You guys who are criticizing it have (I assume) never developed a game before.

Due to this update, it will become slightly harder to acquire new equipment. You will need to rely less upon daily missions and more on actual fighting to get better equipment. This is not a bad thing, although, in the short run, this is bound to create some whining.

Many players say (dramatically as possible), "I am leaving Tanki, Hazel-Rah has ruined it, bye." And they quit... and most of them rejoin after a week, realizing things are maybe not quite as bad as they had expected.

When I logged in after a server restart, I would normally create a Sandbox (with a battle type that matched my missions) and invite a friend, collect the boxes, capture the flags, and finish first. Then I would claim 1,500 cry and a bunch of drugs. The new updates prevent that.

And that is, in the long run, a good thing.

You guys are whining because the game is getting harder to play. This is an expected short-term reaction. However, I actually think it is more fun to have a more challenging game. If the game was less challenging, then it wouldn't be as fun.

Hazel-Rah doubtless knows what he is doing, and despite all the whining and "RIP Tanki" and "I'm Leaving" exclamations, Tanki has progressively gotten better over the past year I have been playing.

Good job Developers!  :)

To start off, the prices for Product Kits in the Shop have been decreased.

Next, we’ve made additional changes to the Daily Missions mechanism. Rewards for missions have increased by another 10% compared to the rewards before Patch Update #451, which was released on March 29th. The price for changing a Daily Mission has been increased proportionately. Additionally, the probability of getting crystals as a reward for a Daily Mission, has been decreased to 37%.

At first you force us to play drug battles for missions, now lower drug prices. I don't like this a lot and I think almost every tanker who don't buys in game don't likes it a lot. Then they want to give us more supplies. Reduces crystal mission chance. What's next? Removed pro battles? I don't know why people finds "fun" in supplies. For me they aren't. They make people with less skill play better. This game is becoming even more Pay2Win and Money > Skill

Bunch of noobs r running tanki. oversmart over paid noobs r dragging this beautiful game to the end of it. It was so beautiful n simple an year ago. It all started with Micro upgrade & M4 update. n things got worst n complicated since then.

They really need to sack n change their marketing n development team for creating this mess. tanki sucks.

Lower PRO Passes so people can find refuge in PRO Battles while you are doing your changes. Or better, give us one month free. Some Parkour could relax us.

But do a quick fix: Parkour kills should not be counted in our K and Ds and K/D ratings.

It is getting worse, 1st we can't do our super missions in pro battles and now you reduce possibility for crystals daily missions. Well you really are trying to get the Pro Battlers to go into normal battles aren't you and use their supply rewards.

I would not be surprised you decide to raise the charge for Pro Battles.

I have significantly reduced my game play as the game is no longer fun.

After I logged in today, found this ridiculous 10k kill mission which will take at least 3000 double damage to complete (even with a pro-level high kill/death rate). Seriously, tanki? Do you guys consider us such noobs to take this mission? What is the point of giving this mission? Or, you are just taking advantage of the fact that there are some players, like me, who love playing tanki and will not quit easily. I am not angry, but a bit dejected and sad, seriously. And, I know my opiniondoes not matter...
