Inability to Shoot in Mid-Air with Railgun + Thunder

This time last week, I was in a Sandbox match, and while my friend and I were waiting for opponents, I tried to the OMP trick (along the edge of the ramp - the one OUFA loves to do) but as I was doing it, my Fear Machine didn't shoot. I tried repeating it to see if it would shoot again. However, there was no luck. My space bar was working, because it shoots when I am not in mid-air. This wasn't just a problem that would last a moment or so; it has been going on for a week. I've tried shooting mid-air with Thunder as well, and in other maps, but still I had no luck. The strangest thing was, when I did this in Parkour mode, it always works -> it shoots in mid-air. It's just some weird prejudice against doing trickshots in normal mode maps or something. This issue is getting slightly on my nerves these days, as it restricts me from doing trickshots in Sandbox and other maps to win matches, and it doesn't help especially with the time it takes to actually get into the game.

This is due to keyboard ghosting, your keyboard is unable to accept multiple keys at the same time. The only way around this is to buy an Anti-Ghosting keyboard, unfortunately they are somewhat expensive.

You can test your keyboard and read more about it here: https://www.microsoft.com/appliedsciences/antighostingexplained.mspx

Just tried it now. It works when I don't press a lot of keys. Thanks :)

Actually, there is another solution to this ;)

I myself have a ghosted keyboard, but I changed the settings to the keys. By 'ghosted keyboard' it doesn't mean that no more than 2 keys can be pressed at once.. it means MOST keys can only be pressed with 1 more. You can go check some keys that work perfectly with 3 keys at once. I myself use 'd' 'f' for left and right and 'c' and 'v' for shooting.

It can be quite annoying the first two weeks, but once you get used to it, it's amazing :) GL!
