Remove anti-cheat

Anti-cheat is supposed to prevent jump hackers, but it doesn't. I still see jump hackers stealing Gold boxes from people. The only thing it does is make people self-destruct for no reason. I remember one time on Noise, I was on a Dictator about to take Gold, but the anti-cheat made me self-destruct right before I could take it. It doesn't work the way it's supposed to and that's why it should be removed.

Devs said they were working on it. More than a year ago. And then I think that Hazel told that they will no longer try to fix it and it would stay that way.

Ikr, it's dumb. But meeh. It's not a surprise.

I expressed my own opinion about the Anti-Cheat in other topic so I will just quote what I said. The Anti-cheat needs quite a lot of improvement so I do agree with you on that part.

In my opinion it always depends on how we look at the anti-cheat and it has it's pros and cons just like anything else. The reason why you don't see how this helps prevent hacking is because it actually works, yes it does. Not only does It prevent most hackers from, well, hacking, so you don't actually see their cheats in action plus you don't know what a hacker looks like, right.

Now the biggest problem is the false triggering of the system, which many are complaining about including me in some battles, which causes you to self destruct. This is well known problem and is being worked on. There is not much we can do about it as a players but wait, since it is only a matter of time before developers find a solution for it.

In my opinion Gold Boxes were always or are a secondary aspect of gameplay, while the primary is the game mode itself and the self-destruct zones in some places were added to make battles more fair, despite the fact that it ruined some of the strategy with gold box catching and unfortunately this attempt at making battles fair did require a sacrifice, but developers decided that the former of the two was much more important and they added the self-destruct zones. Many things needs to be changed about the Anti-Cheat and let's hope they make it better in the near future.

^ Fully agreed. The current system already blocks dozens of previously functional hacks. It will constantly be improved to block new cheats and cheat producers will always find new ways to bypass the anti-cheat. It's a never-ending battle. And yes, unfortunately you do get false triggering of the system in fair players and not much can be done about it.

They could just use low gravity maps as bait for jump hackers.

This is just an endless cycle, the hacker gets banned and create another account, and so on. That's why low gravity maps were removed. I have a feeling that when a gold box drops, there is less anti-cheat system for us, players being able to get on top of tanks.

Maybe, but I still see a lot of jump hackers. During Fool Days, one hacker took 8-9 Golds in a row in Year 2042. In all the video, he was jump hacking, just a little, enough to get on top easily.

It is less boring compared to the flags hackers a few years ago. But it's still annoying. You can't block a hacker with the flag, he jumps over your tank and go capture :/

 one hacker

That's just one guy with a hack that can cheat the anti-cheat. I'm sure you didn't see many different ones.

There are a numbers of hackers that use that same hack. Just small jumps, but enough to jump over my Viking when I block them.

Next time you block someone, use dictator and see how well the hackers fare with that :P

If you are on top (literally touching the top of a tank) of a tank you should not self-destruct but if you are not touching the ground or a tank that is touching the ground for about 15 seconds (to allow tanks to jump off ramps and other things) then that should self destruct the tank.

Jump hackers can still "jump" within the self destruct limits. Example: I saw a hack jump in Rico map. He jumped onto the platform where the red flag is. Why he did that instead of the ramp, I have no idea.

Another time was also on Rico map. Our flag bearer was on the lower level of the middle building under the ramp on the Blue team side. I guess the hacker knew that if he used the ramps, he would be killed. Instead, he jump hacked from the desert/beach side of the building. I saw him, but could do nothing about it with my Firebird. By the time I got where the flag bearer was, he was already dead and the red flag returned.

I saw another "jumper" on Silence map. He fell off the building where the blue flag is. He fell about half way, then jumped back up.

Again on Silence, where the wide ramp is going up to the first level of blue team. The hacker was sitting on the platform of the wide ramp. He came under attack, backed up and fell off the platform into the dead zone. But before he landed, he jump hacked back onto the platform. I saw him do it again on the platform of the long narrow ramp. He backed up too far, fell off, then jump hacked back onto the platform before he landed in the dead zone.

I saw it used on Highland map, blue team side. Anyone who respawned between the small building by the flag and the cliff was trapped, because the red team snipers would kill us as soon as we came out into the opening. A jump hacker respawned there and jump hacked onto the cliff instead of trying to use the ramp.

So, you see, the Jump hack is still very much alive. They just don't use it to get on top of buildings anymore.
