so when you really look at this update discount its really not one. only cause it now takes 20 steps to get to m4 but at the old cost that it would have taken only 10 steps . if this is confusing ..

 

well in the past the cost was cheaper and it took only 10 steps to upgrade . then they raised there steps to be 20 and raised the cost also . but now with this reduction were back to .. doing it in the cost ? of the old 10 steps but stretched out in 20 steps .

 

now also with cost going up the last time really were still paying a small increase on the old cost to this new price , please by all means correct me on this ..?

It should be much, much cheaper now. Previously there were 50 steps at a bit lower prices than they are before this topic's update. Then it was 20 steps at the current price, not it is 20 steps at a lower price. So it should be fewer steps at a lower cost for each step.

Well if you're going to nerf M4's, you might as well make them cheaper. I'm against all of it though. But I suppose this will make it easier those with M4 to have more people who will play against them.

Great update in and of itself, but players who bought M4s prior to this update should get some sort of compensation. I don't think it is quite fair that they had to pay much more.

 

Anyway, this is good :) , it should help solve the buyer/non-buyer issue that seems to ruin standard battles for high-rank players.

First - this is a great update.  The slog from M3 to M4 was just too hard for casual players.  So thumbs up.  B)

 

That said, I agree with IAW here - I've spend millions on my mostly M4 garage.  I'd like to have Tanki throw me a bone in recognition, now that half of those crystals didn't need to be spent. :(

 

But at the end of the day, I do understand that I bought when I bought.  That transaction was completed as promised.  Tanki on 4/11/2017 is not the same game as it was in December 2016 when I upgraded most of my M4s.  We're all just gonna have to live with the change, as we have lived with every other change (those of us who have stayed  :ph34r: )

How to compensate here?

 

If they compensate here, people will always expect compensations in the future, and making changes will be problematic because they'll be thinking in possible compensations. 

 

The problem is the dramatic changes they make, they should have started with 25% and maybe another 25% in a year or two.

 

I understand M4s... it is unfair. But devs must have some good reasons for the change also, like saving the game, probably. In other words, if it is for the good of the game, then it is good for M4s as well, and they most likely have M3s to MU too.

For all those saying 'RIP people with M4's, they spent a lot more' well thats not exactly the case. Before the other update it costed for a turret, 910 000 crystals for upgrades and 455 000 for speed ups. This equals 1 365 000 crystals. Now with this update the upgrades cost 455 000 and and speed ups cost 910 000. See, no difference? The Deves were just putting the overall cost back the way it was.

 

The only advantage is for an XT MUer or someone who only buys Upgrades and not speed-ups. Either way I'm fine with it. :)
