It's not due to the update, it's been happening long before the update was implemented. It's the job of Battle Mods to forcibly end the battle in such cases.

There are too many players who agree with you.

It might get annoying, but, it isn't a great problem as for making a discussion about it or something like that. Pressing the "Chat" button doesn't take more than 1 second.

Yes either that or the chat tab to be the default tab, I thought this was finally a good update in a long time, so far it's not worth it

I do agree, I would like the chat as the default tab. Most of the time when I send a message to another player, they rarely see it because they are always on News and are too lazy (like me) to switch.

How about making the Chat section the default section? Meaning, when logging in or switching servers, the default window is the Chat window, as appose to the News one.

It's really nice, but I think it's better to place the global chat at first, now we always need to switch from panel before we can write anything in the chat.

Add an option to have the chat shown by default when entering the game/leaving a battle. 

 

If a player receives a PM in the chat while on the News tab, that player will not be notified, unless they click on the Chat tab.

 

Having this would ensure players that messages directed towards them in the chat wouldn't be missed.

About having the Chat panel be default, I'll bring that up in tomorrow's CM meeting. I think it might be something relatively small to fix, and I'm pretty sure our devs already know about it. But of course, I can't promise anything.

This new feature is amazing, so developers must add more useful tabs. Tanki Online must have more advanced features to make the game more powerful. Legend players must have access to special tabs. For example, a container tab would benefit players on opening a container to obtain skins, crystals, supplies, free micro upgrade steps and other goodies.

 

The container goodies on Tanki X must come to Tanki Online somehow. Just think about the cool goodies that all Legend players dream of obtaining as a daily gift.

The NEWS / CHAT tabbed windows is placed backwards. News is rarely updated, so should not be the default when coming out of battle or switching servers.  Many of us don't care about the news, or at the most will read it once and then move on. Within a typical 4-hour visit to tankionline I will have to switch off of NEWS and back to CHAT 20 times. Thats excessive and unncessary.

 

Please make CHAT the default window.

That's forbidden in the Game Rules:

"2.4.5. Discussion of present-day political issues that can provoke conflict in any way".

 

There are also other similar mentions in the Game Rules which prohibit such discussions, most of which lead to some sort of temporary ban from the Chat/Forum. Therefore, I would strongly advise you to not discuss such political issues in the Chat, however much you may like or dislike U.S. President Donald Trump, and other leaders, etc. ;-)

I've already forwarded the suggestion. The thing is that we want to make sure you don't miss important news such as sales etc. That said, I'm sure devs will think of a way to make it more practical.

What about the red circle with the white ! =>  .!., this could be useful to be added on the top of the News button so we know there is new information available.
