NEWS/CHAT tab window is a complete fail

So - now everytime I come out of a battle or change servers I have to click on CHAT, since NEWS is the default. Thats just a total screw of grand proportions. This is the worst idea I have seen. 

 

CHAT should be default - period. NEWS is something you read once, maybe, and move on. I don't want to have to click on CHAT over and over and over and over. 

 

Seriously - whom at Tanki thought any player needs NEWS updates several times an hour - up to 20 times within a typical 4-hour game visit???

Or maybe there should be an option to show the news after you log in but the chat after that.

 

It is still a new feature so it has to be polished.

i agree it should not be having to be closed so many times , every server change , every battle you return from . also it takes longer to open missions and also longer to return from battles to open chat window / main page .

the forum is dying anyways...

So you mean, if you have to click on something to do it. And its not happening by default then its a complete fail? Weird logic tbh.

 

But I do agree, (not with the fail part) maybe the default tab should be chat or News tab should only open when there is something new.

sir please understand that when you play like a regular player and go in and out of battles all day long and change servers . its starts to get to be more of aggravation having to close and open chat all the time , like i suggest last night , if they do something like the shop button having a indicator on it to let us know when there is news then its would work . most players skip over the news pop ups and seldom voice there opinions in the forum and the ones who do are now called trolls or look bad cause we are the only ones complaining or giving opinions .

Not everything is perfect from day 1. And still the need to make a single click to get what you want, does not make it a complete fail. It was also never mentioned that the current system won't be changed so there is no need of complaining like THIS right now. That's my opinion. Moreover complaining decently and giving opinions doesn't give a "troll" tag to anyone :)

I happen to find it quite agreeable. I'd rather have old news than a bunch of people trying to trick others into giving their passwords away, trying to get others to go the their battles, or hitting on people.

Sir I fully understand there are still bugs to work out on this new system and your taking me the wrong way. I'm more voicing my opinion on this and would hope they take some of it and change the system , like i said i complain and im being taking out of text . i said what i felt need to be looked into and I'm not the only player complaining if you were on last night when server updated happened, you would have seen the complaints of players putting there thumbs down for it .. as time will tell and if they take our opinions and work with them then yea it could work , but right now as it stands its not working its more of a pain for players .

It's not fail, it's pretty useful but yeah I agree that chat should be default, it's pretty annoying that you have to switch to chat every time.

Individual settings, I would rather have the news be default, so I don't have to see ppl keep bumping the chat.
