No killing in gb solved

Each time goldbox drops there's always that "noob" who doesn't care about the goldbox and only goes for the flag/kill/point,then people that try to go for gold get killed by the ones who don't care.

the main reason people don't care about gold is because it is worth only 1k.

My idea is to add something to the goldbox,each time a goldbox is taken, the team that the person who took the gold is from, will get a extra flag/get all points capped at that second (in dm nothing different).

 

how does this solve the problem

If everyone knows that going for the point isn't worth it if someone from enemy gets gold and enemy team gets all the points then they'll go for the gold and the killing in goldboxes will decrease.

The "no-kill rule" will never be official. Just accept it. There is absolutely no reason to have any kind of truce in a tank battle, especially when a rare supply drop is about to fall. If you don't want to get killed during a gold box - hide and don't shoot, but you do so at your own risk and no one else is obliged to follow that.

 

Why this particular idea won't happen is because catching a gold box is often a completely random event. You can get it because of lag or because someone accidentally pushed you into it. It's rarely a case of skill and I wouldn't want the game's result to depend on someone's luck. Flags in certain games are extremely valuable. Sometimes you have situations where both teams are fiercely fighting to steal a flag and the score is 0-0 throughout the whole game, then a gold drops and it just happens to fall on the blue base, where some noob takes it and brings the team totally undeserved victory. Sorry, not gonna happen.

There's no such battle that ends 0-0 in ctf (highways doesn't count).

Also, a lot of PRO battles end up being 0-0. Silence, Camp, Highlands...

 

Either way, any close score could result in a lot of understandable rage from gold boxes. For example one team leading 4-3 and the other team catches two easy gold boxes and wins. I can see nothing but pure frustration out of this.

you can say the same way about goldboxes, say i am the one who suggests a idea to add goldbox to the game which can drop randomly in middle of battle then you would decline the idea because the goldboxes distract players from playing the game so if the golds stay i really think my idea is ok.
