Bringing back Names on battles

Recommended Posts

For this update to be appropriate for the screen, we can have toggle on/off for the communicator panel to make more space for the battle section hence giving more space for battle names (while the communicator panel is on the names will appear "Gold Rain in he...")  the names will have a white font colour to be seperate for the map name.

The format of the battle section will go like [ (pro battle) Map Name (mode) Battle Name |Amount of players| Time/Caps/CP/kills ] Reason being is that battles will still go in their alphabetical order which is from the Map's name to make it as easy of finding battles as it has been.

For inappropriate naming, whenever a player makes a battle, their name will show in the picture of the map for e.g Battle Created by: murcielagoes, which then provides evidence for the chat moderator to disable match making for the player which we can use from the banning system that we have now (ban = not being able to talk, not being able to make battles)

Declined

We do not accept ideas for bringing back removed features.

Custom battle names were removed because they made the battle list look messy and misleading. They also required a extra moderation efforts, therefore being a feature that causes multiple problems without that much benefit. 90% of players either left the title default (Map name + game mode, as we have them now), wrote some spam, put clickbait to get people to join or used it to advertise their youtube channel and other social profiles. Titles were mainly used to label the battle format, but after the release of format battles as a feature this became redundant.

I suppose battle names might be added for PRO battles eventually, since they are supposed to be "custom battles", but it's only up to devs to decide right now.
