@Cedric Debono You completely think me WRONG.

 

If I got a penny for every time I heard that phrase in the past year, I'd have retired by now.

I don't mind everything you need to buy from the Shop, you have $, you can spend as you wish.My point is - What's the need of constant drugging with or without purpose from the very start? People won battles with zero skill just because they have drugs, same opponent I kill twice without drugs without getting killed. There must be some sort of balance in the battle like you can spend XXX amount of supplies per battle.

 

 

And then we'll start getting flak from players who only play long-range turrets. The truth is, there's no way to make everyone happy. You speak as if you represent THE WHOLE community, but it's not the case. There are as many players who want what you want, as there are players who absolutely DO NOT want it. So spare me the remarks of "if you spend a single minute on players' welfare".

I never raise objection against large maps, my concern is less small maps. So I request you to increase more small maps than present and sorry I never represent the WHOLE COMMUNITY, I don't care what others say, but I know many likes short maps since spending drugs is minimal there.

If you allow missions in pro battles EVERYONE will be happy....XD

 

Please atleast allow Super missions in pro battles.

It will take years to complete super mission in standard battles.

 

Don't tell me this is off topic cuz you closed that topic, when playere were replying and complaining about mission update.

Try giving everyone a year of Premium, free dream tank and 1m crystals.

They would complain that we didn't give them TWO years of Premium, TWO dream tanks, and TWO crystals. And they'll call us stingy. Look at the contests and discounts we run. We're under no obligation to run contests or discounts. And yet, when we give prizes away and run discounts, people STILL complain because they want more. Trust me, most people will never be happy, because their happiness has nothing to do with what they receive from others.

As I've already said, there are no plans to do that. And the reason I closed that topic was that all the points had been discussed, so there was no point in keeping it open.

What's there not to love? Spread the joy!

Everything would be just too easy to achieve and the game won't be actually fun anymore. People won't be motivated to spend time and money for this game.

=> Daily missions are bonus! You do not need mission to play the game normally, their real purpose is to keep you play longer and every day. There is also an extra layer, if you do complete them every day then you have the weekly chain, so there are like mission, your mission is to complete one daily mission per day of the week. This is where you get “more interesting stuff”. However the further up you go the less interesting they become what is 3 750k per week when you need 900 000k to fully upgrade a M3? and you have 19 equipments in your garage (+ several protection module)? This is why the special mission come in to keep you hooked. Why do you want an XT equipment anyway, they do not have alteration, they do not have garage promotion (apart the special mission) nor Mued promotion (or very very rarely).

All of this has one purpose, make you play every day, once your addict to it you cannot stop. And you my friend you look like you are quite addict. If they become too easy then people log in play 5 minutes and then out, then they do not serve their purpose.

As I've already said, there are no plans to do that. And the reason I closed that topic was that all the points had been discussed, so there was no point in keeping it open.

Leave this mission issue, any plans for developers to trim isida's damage & healing power -- Its absolutely over-powered.

Sorry, but what you wanted to convey was not clear. So yes we agree that some mission are easy, nevertheless some are more difficult to achieve in a short time, this is why other players complain that they can't do their daily missions when they have super-missions.

And no they are not all easy to be done in 5 minutes, not like it used to be when it was ok to do it in probattle. You need to see the overall picture and ton the long term, not one picked example and the short term view. Maybe you have an ez today, but tomorrow you could have a more difficult one. If too ez or too short then people log out afetr it's finished or go pro-battle, it doesn't serve the purpose. If too difficult, people give up and don't log in, it doesn't serve the purpose. Make it both and varied then you have a good mix. I think you already know that.

Additionally making you play everyday is one aspect of it, the other aspect is that you still need to enjoy playing the game while doing them, not being a chores to do every day.

And because Missions are not doable in PRO Battles anymore. But I think 2500 crystals and 2450 in supplies is a little too much because there will be more Premium users (good for Tanki) with a lot drugs (bad for non buyers).

 

Maybe they should rise the EXP points of Premium users from 50% to 100%, but those points don't get reflected in battles.

Has it been 30 days since the Mission Update? I still see a lot of PRO battles, which is surprising. I would have thought the PRO battles would collapse bc of this but they haven't.

Will we don't really want 1 year premium, we want the game to be fair and fun regardless of how that is achieved, the missions update did two things:

 

1- Game is now less fun which is why servers now have less players than before the update as many players had it with this game
2- players are forced to use drugs = more supplies + supplies kits bought = players have less crystals when there is a sale and in general = more players pay $ to get crystals ta daaa

 

Tanki in one of the V-logs said that they made the non-pro battles and the "battle" button for the players who don't play tanki often, yet now they fliped 180 and made it impossible for a regular tanki player to complete missions without the non-pro battles

 

Lie much? ;)

 


Aside from mines supplies have no tactical use and should be removed, repair kits, speed boosts, double damage and double armour should be drop only

Normal missions are okay in non-PRO battles, but the Super Missions is posing serious problems especially 9999 kills. You can get 99999 XP mission if you use isida vigorously by healing your own teammates. I can get 10K XP throughout the day in non-PRO battles without using a single drug from my store except health kit on some crucial situation. This is not a solution since every day will not be lucky for you.

 

Tanki need to give more small maps in non-PRO battles, large maps are extremely prone to severe drugging from some skill-less noobs. @Cedric Debono if you spend a single minute on players' welfare, please tell developers to release more short maps instead of large maps everytime.

 

HUGE +1 to this suggestion. Small maps in standard battles make missions a bit easier, result in more battles in the list, which in turn increases variety on a given server, which all generates and propagates a perception of more activity in the game.

 

I just don't see a down side to this.

 


This would be ridiculous.
Need to collect repair boxes? Probably end up in Noise (on blue) and never collect.
Need 90 kills? End up in Kunger where everyone spread far apart (and the tanker has... Freeze as only M3)

 

Taking away all choices, including maps and battles is just horrible. You will lose even more players. Can't see anyone recommending the game

2-This does seem like where the game is headed. Soon we will press the Battle button and join he losing side of a 9-0 CTF game. Leave and press Batle again -> join the losing side of a 67-2 CP game. Leave and press Battle again -> and you're back in the 9-0 CTF game, still on the losing side.

While Harry's request could have been phrased much more politely, your response implies that you missed the spirit of what he was asking - not for Battle to polar shift to only short range maps, but rather to balance large maps with some small ones. Does not have to be 50-50 and moreover shouldn't be since small maps fill with players faster - 75% med-large maps / 25% small maps or some such percentage would work fine. IMO it is a legitimate and valid suggestion.

This is one of the reasons I stopped buying with real money. The explanation behind these recent changes seems contradictory. While I am aware of key updates coming to the game (matchmaking, HTML5), I would like to hear more about the near term Vision for the game itself. What does this game want to be?

(shss Isida is great, but it's greater when I'm the only one using it, k)

Look at my rank it's lucky i got already 4 M3  and I ranked yesterday and all is in game well earned crystals.

Don't forget to read my awesome article on how to play better (it's in french though).

I would really appreciate it if you stuck to having a reasonable conversation instead of using a straw man.

 

I meant 100% with the bonus (2500+supplies) ;)

 

How about 0% without the bonus? (not like they are gonna reverse the change)

Oh, I see what you mean now. The first option would be interesting. I definitely would not buy premium if it was only +100% crystals, though some people might. I guess it comes down to that, premium wasn't appealing enough, so they decided to make it a better deal. I suppose it's still better than having a paint with 15% (20%? I can't remember how much it was) protection against everything.

 

Most of the updates by devs. are for "GAME BALANCE", but I think according to you giving 2500 crystals and 10 supplies DAILY to premium users will balance game and few crystals WEEKLY to all players will dis balance game. :huh:

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying two different things:

 

1: The premium update does not automatically unbalance the game. At least no more than it was before. Somebody made the argument that now low rank accounts can buy premium and be overpowered. I just noted that that tactic would take a long time and that there were easier ways to become overpowered at low ranks well before this update.

 

2: If they gave 2,000 crystals to everybody who got the answer right on the vlog thingie, chances are that players would be much less reluctant to share the right answer with other players and the contest would become a "google the answer, post it somewhere, get crystals," which would sort of ruin the purpose of the contest. As you can see, this has nothing to do with balance issues.

 

I don't think this is his/her main account. He/She want to hide his/her identity by posting from low ranked account or may be his/her main account banned.

Turns out that you can't log in with your account if you are logged in elsewhere. Since I check the forum from my mobile as well as my computer, I need to log in with different accounts on each device.

The vision is something of Team Fortress 2.

How it will shape it's difficult to say, but you have the premise of some element of it in the build - Clan, match making (ratings), game simplification (muing - battle button), clan battle...

Semyon Kirov isn't and was NEVER a developer, he was a community manager who has now left the game entirely and with all due respect is of no relevance to the development of the game anymore. 

Semyon Kirov worked with devs in same office and Cedric work from his home in Mayami.
