@Ninja Here is an old post of @semyonkirov on the update when crystal boxes removed. See how he writes player-friendly post unlike this Cedric who is more of dictator rather than democratic -_-

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=231802

Lol, this is hilarious  :D

Let me tell you something you don't know. At the time that Semyon published that announcement, I was already employed with Tanki Online as a copywriter — in other words, I wrote texts and announcements. And I very clearly remember writing that announcement.

So, that announcement that you're saying is so much better than what I write because it was written by Semyon, was actually written by me  :)

Want proof? Check out some of Semyon's earlier announcements written BEFORE I came on board as copywriter. I started beginning of May 2014 if I'm not mistaken. If you're sharp enough, you'll notice the difference in the way they're written.

If you present your suggestion in an appropriate manner and maybe with some support shown from other members of the community, Mr. Debono should communicate with the developers and tell them what we want and if both developers and players benefit in some way then he will probably manage to persuade them.

Believe me, it is what I do every single day. But forwarding your suggestions doesn't equate to making them a reality unfortunately  :)

No, Cedric has done a lot more to further community interest. I'd give him a +5 for guts. Sure he can be a bit rough around the edges where Seymon was more or less all smiles, but at the end of the day I'm happier with Cedric.

Thanks. I really appreciate that.  :)

And yes, I can indeed be blunt sometimes. But that's because I don't tolerate it when people throw tantrums. I'm all for discussion. But the moment someone throws a tantrum, I become extremely assertive.

russian v-log out since an hour, no en vlog tho

wake up sir @Cedric Debono

  1. I don't need to wake up. I've been up since 7:00am and been working almost non-stop since then (it's 16:24 right now — you do the math)
  2. I explained last week that for the next few weeks, the V-LOG will be coming out a few hours after the Russian V-LOG, to make sure all communities can post at the same time, thus giving their players the same chance to grab the secret code (RU and EN V-LOG's have different codes at different locations, but PL, DE, BR and ES players all watch the EN V-LOG)
  3. The EN V-LOg actually involves A TON more work than the RU V-LOG. RU V-LOG doesn't even have subtitles. For EN V-LOG, I need to:
    1. upload the script to the video
    2. work out the subtitles
    3. forward them to the other Community Managers and our group of unofficial translators to translate into different languages to cater for as many players as possible
    4. and a few more odds and ends related to logistics.
  4. Additionally, the RU V-LOG is usually uploaded before the EN V-LOG, which means I get to start working on it even later.

Considering all of the above, you should appreciate what a huge effort the whole team does to actually post the EN V-LOG at the same time as the RU V-LOG (as we used to do up to two weeks ago before the contest started). It's only now that we can't do that, because posting the V-LOG at 13:00 UTC would be too early for the BR and ES community, which means they'd have a fair chance at the contest.

Wanna tell me again to wake up?

but you fail to pass the opinion and demands of player to devs

How so? I report player opinions and complaints constantly to devs. Just because they don't implement what you want them to, doesn't mean I don't pass on the feedback. Yours is a very shortsighted observation.

wow someone  woke up on the wrong side today. being rude to players don't get your point across . for one what you do on your job and on your computer we have no clue we only go by what we see and we all see things in a different way and point of view . we get what was said in Hazel and your chat in the past but still some of these players have no clue on what your job description you do daily

The reason why Cedric may come across as "rude" is simply because he replies to others who accuse him of things, (EN V-LOG being released later than RU V-LOG) in a straightforward and honest way.

No one likes to be told something that isn't true when they work really hard to do their best to help others and do their job.

Step into Cedric's shoes for just a day and I can assure you that you'll be overwhelmed and exhausted from how much he accomplishes in a day to help this community.

sir i fully understand where he is coming from if you only knew what i do daily plus other things . my past life when i was working was heavily over filled day and my job had to be done before i left work so i could end up doing work for 8 to 14 hours plus other side jobs . the stress from the job gets to you that is when you need to step back and calm down , been there many a times even now as a mom life its fully stress

the russian v-log came quiet sometime ago. is there some kind of delay today?

In short, the EN V-LOG is delayed to provide a fair chance to all communities for the secret code contest.
