Just like the List of Parkour Clubs topic is convenient for looking at the most active parkour clubs and quickly seeing all the relevant info about them, a Suggestions Directory topic would be very convenient for everyone who wants to quickly view an organized list of all the suggestions.

Sort the suggestions by status (planned, declined, etc) and you can also add your tags ([ftr], [lgn], etc) to it so you can search them with CTRL+F. (u know nobody likes using the search lol)

 

 

I guess it's a bunch of work for you now, but organizing the whole thing will be useful and probably save you time later, and everyone else will be happy to have it :)

If we ever make such a list, there definitely won't be any declined ideas in it and probably none of the under review ones either. Only Planned, Started and Completed. Because I don't think any of us forum mods are willing to go through 25+ pages of topics and compile them all into one list.

 

Also, if you think about it, the section itself is a list of all ideas, and if you sort them in alphabetical order, then you will have them separated into groups based on title tags. I think that option is enough and manually making a list is not worth the effort.

 

We are thinking of making a guide on how to use the I&S section. Knowing how to search for ideas using the advanced search and the custom filter will be among the things in it.

But anyway it's not a really big deal, just a nice thing to have a more full picture of what's planned for the game. Maybe can make just a list of planned/started/recently completed ideas and under it a list of other known development plans. After all, the purpose of this topic is to see what's coming into the game, that's the only reason someone would want to check this topic anyway.

I like to use advanced search. Its very very effective, I can even find the date's of contests that happened like 2-3 years ago also using advanced search I figured out that the name of the guy whose voice we hear in v-log is Alex. Advanced search is very effective, you should learn using it.

For that we already have the Development Plans wiki page, which is being updated by developers whenever necessary. I find the relevancy of that list questionable and I'm not sure how often they update it. but it's the best we have at the moment. We won't be able to get more accurate information is we create a forum topic.

Yeah, but still kinda stupid. Compared to something like Google's advanced search options, the forum search is pathetic. In fact, sometimes it's better to use google advanced search to find stuff on this forum, than the actual forum search.

We now have tags on the forum, and you can click them to see all ideas with a particular status or a particular theme. I think it's a much neater and more effective system than making a list of ideas manually. I also made a list of completed ideas, in case you're interested :)

We're likely to make them darker. At least the under review one. If people still complain after that, then we will remove the under review tag from the title, just like we did before this update.
