Hello! I am and here is my first article about some newbie tricks of Smoky.

 

I created this fairly short guide for newbie players in Tanki Online to help them realize Smoky's usefulness.

Short Introduction about Smoky:

This is the weapon that every single user starts with and everyone who has played Tanki Online has used it. It is unlocked at the rank of Recruit, and from that point on, each upgrade is two ranks above the previous upgrade. It is the only weapon to have each upgrade unlocked that way.

How It Works:

Smoky is a weapon that works damage by firing out a shell from the gun. The shell only does damage on the tank that it hits; it does not have any splash damage. It can auto-aim up and down fairly well if the tank it is shooting at is higher/lower than it.Till 60 meters it does his 100% damage, but after 60 to 100 meters it goes to 50% and after 100 meters 0%. It does quite a bit of damage per shot and has quite good reload. However, in damage per second (DPS) it is outnumbered by the superior Fire birds and Twins. Thus, it needs to stay out of range and shoot from a distance to be at maximum usefulness against these weapons.

If you play Tanki Online shooter game with Smoky and want to improve your results, then you have to do this.We will shatter the myth that Smoky is a newbie-only gun and will learn some tricks, which will help you beat more experienced and better equipped players.Every Tanki Online player knows Smoky, because it is the first gun players get for free after registering in the game.

Why people are not interested in it?

In addition, it is the cheapest gun in Tanki Online. Its M1 modification is very cheap now. Because of these facts many people mistakenly think that Smokey is a newbie gun. This is wrong! Despite cheapness and accessibility for low ranks, this gun can successfully compete with much more expensive guns. The only thing you'll need to succeed with Smoky is to get used to it and learn some tricks.

Let yourself used to learn some tricks:

The most important trick you'll need to learn when playing with Smoky is dislodging enemies' "lock" on you. When the enemy is aimed on you, you need to catch the moment before he shots and shoot into the right or left corner of his tank. This trick will make him fail to hit you. This tactic is very effective against Railguns.

Special defend from Railgun:

Railgun takes a long time to reload. If you dislodge its sight and make it shoot into wrong direction, your enemy will be unable to make a second shot for a significant amount of time. In this period of time he becomes absolutely defenseless and you can shoot him without any problem.

eSport career of Smoky:

The one and important thing is to know that Smoky is a PRO gun which is used in all of SLTV star series matches.(Light, Critical and Old light formats)

 

Secondly, Smoky is now a part of upcoming tournaments too i.e. DS2.

Why is it a better turret?

Following facts make Smoky better than other equipment:

• You can make Rails miss easily if you shoot at their side.
• You're great for causing panic and cover fire with m2-m3 Smoky.
• Great to pick enemies off 1 by 1 in mid range.
• You can kill Thunders easy as pie as long as you know how fast they reload and how to shoot their sides to make them miss.
• Always shoot when your jumping...Don't be a newbie!
• Smoky is good in large arenas like Rio, Kunger, Bridge, Barda and Tribute. Shoot from a distance rather than head on.
• Smoky is good on all hulls, even Wasp!

Interesting guide, even if it was slightly on the short side. I personally haven't used Smoky all that much, so maybe I might purchase the M3 modification. It is a very good weapon, and the M2 modification outmatches my Thunder M3 in a one-on-one situation.

 

Your formatting is pretty sound, and I like the fact that I didn't have to change the font to Trebuchet MS 14 (for once) :P

There could be a lot more information and tips for it. Personally, before writing a guide, I would dedicate myself more in researching about it.

i have upgraded it with m2, and my vikng is 9/10, and under no circumstances is it easy to master, absolutely not
