Totally didn't write that short, cynical post just to get the first post on this thread

I just want to Thank battle mods. Today they saved my game, and it's not the only time :D You guys must be really busy and sometimes frustrated after seeing the amount of voted battles per day. I understand you can't check all of them, but thanks for atleast giving your best :D

My question is, how do you guys feel, as a battle mod. Spectating random battles silently?

To make something happen, 25% of the players in the battle, plus one person my complain against one player. If this happens, the player's nickname turns black for the moderators and the battle in which it is located will be highlighted in the list of battles creating an excellent signal to alert the moderator.

OK, I have one big question regarding parkour mode.

I've heard of multiple cases where players get kicked (and I think even banned) for shooting others in Parkour mode. I'd like to point out that nowhere in the rules does it say that shooting other players in Parkour mode is against the rules, so mods punishing players for it is technically power abuse. I always tell players that if they don't want "ruiners" to disturb their parkour, they need to get some trusted friends together and do parkour in a private battle, like all the decent parkour clubs do it. Public parkour battles are just fun games with no rules, basically "chillout rooms", and trying to do any kind of serious parkour in there is pointless waste of effort.

So let's say this "no-killing rule" is added to the main Game Rules and "sabotage" in parkour battles becomes punishable. But even then I would not agree with this kind of decision because it's basically a waste of time. A Russian moderator told me that battle mods don't kick shooters in parkour right away. Instead, they "enter the battle upon responding to a /vote report, find the reported player, observe them for a long time and then make a decision based on what they saw". I understand that this is a logical process to make sure that no honest player get kicked for shooting (e.g. if they killed someone accidentally). What bothers me is that battle mods waste their time dealing with some silly "ruiners" in parkour, instead of focusing on actual important issues like reports of hackers and sabotage in normal battles.

In a nutshell, my question is: why do you think that "violations" in parkour mode are worth spending your precious work time on, instead of dedicating it to actual battles?

Well you never met the [Nova] clan ;) And I guess the majority of ruiners are only there to improve their KD, so the actual thing should be to totally remove that kills and deaths count in parkour. You might not agree, but it's truth.

1)If the same person take many vote from different battles because he is mult are u gonna ban him from entering battles for some days or u leave him to  go to the next battle and do the same things without any consequences?

2)To tell the truth the vote system is useless 1 in 10 occasions i has see something to happen to a player who is mult and many players vote so how many players have to vote a player so a battle mod can come kick him out?

Vote command only works in battle chat when at least 25% of all players in battle will use this command on the violator.

Why is power levelling not allowed?

I mean, it doesn't really affect other players, so......

Using multiple accounts in a single battle to rise level (experience or crystals) by playing against own alternate accounts is against Rules 2.1.4

Voting on player doesn't mean that a battle moderator will come and kick the player directly , Battle mod will watch the player for some minutes , if player was sabotaging ( mean battle mod will kick him ) , if player was playing normal ( mean battle mod will reset the Vote system and will leave the battle 319059d3.jpg )

I have reported many noobs for holding the flag for 5+ minutes so that we can't catch up with the score and beat their friends in the enemy team but I always wondered if holding the flag for the opposite purpose was also considered as sabotage...

In the video below, you can see my sweet favorite Isida supporting me while I'm holding the flag so that enemies don't return it and capture ours. Given the team we had (a common team by the way <_<), I felt that we had no chance to win this battle the "regular" way as enemies would have easily capture enough flags to overcome our score. Therefore, we saved time and won by holding the flag for 9 (!) minutes.

Even if our flag was returned, I would have remained hidden... Would it be considered as sabotage even though my action was beneficial for my team?

Reporting players / game violations : http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showforum=158 , Battle mod will answer you after checking your report !

Battle moderators are so busy that they won't even be able to reply to this topic

Your right , we are busy with protecting / helping / ... etc / responding on players calls , and this is our job ;)

I remember one time I said to my clanmates jokingly, "all vote Extreme245" or something like that, and eventually I saw some green text saying "analysis of complaints by the moderator has been completed." Nobody got banned, but we all laughed at that. Sorry if I wasted someone's time there...

Approximately how many battle mods are there?

I believe you misunderstood his question. He just wanted to know if holding the flag for 9 minutes in order to prevent the enemies from capturing the flag was considered sabotaging, even if it was beneficial.

Do the game violators motivate you to do your job well? As in every time you handle a situation, help players, and punish a bad guy, do you get that feeling of accomplishment?

How many hours per week do you have to work as battle mod?

How long in average does it take to check a battle, collect evidence and punish the violators?

edit: cool idea to start this thread ;)

- Every Battle_Mod work as much as he/she can everyday . We try to cover all servers and all complaints !

- Battle_Mod collect evidence on violator(s) as much as enough to kick player(s) from the battle , it depends on which type of violations the violator is doing in the battle .
