If battle mods didn't see private battles power leveling would be a breeze.

most of the times battle mods don't come, or if they come it's too late, i used the /vote command a lot of times, but no one showed up,

we have en.ru,and de chatmods group, also there is a Ru BM group but everytime we complain , we get a late answer so why we don't have any for the EN community ?

Do you need to record every violations and upload them on YouTube?

Yes , our recorder is always ON , once Battle_Mod join a battle to watch violator(s) , Battle_Mod record video for some minutes and after kicking violator(s) from the battle , Battle_Mod will add evidence(s) in Karma player(s) in case the player(s) complaint that has been kicked from the battle without reason or ...

@Cedrik, maybe you could manage to collect all Q&A in the second post in the thread, so that the same questions will not be asked multiple times (at least not so often :P)

Do the game violators motivate you to do your job well? As in every time you handle a situation, help players, and punish a bad guy, do you get that feeling of accomplishment?

It's not about feelings , helping players or punish violator(s) is the reason of our presence here and we are just doing our Job !

- Vote command only works in battle chat when at least 25% of all players in battle will use this command on the violator .

- Your question will be forward to CM & Admin for discussion

So battle mod 8 as come out of hiding. Now all we need is to get the the other 11.

Others are working , for what you want them all here ?

OK, I have one big question regarding parkour mode.

I've heard of multiple cases where players get kicked (and I think even banned) for shooting others in Parkour mode. I'd like to point out that nowhere in the rules does it say that shooting other players in Parkour mode is against the rules, so mods punishing players for it is technically power abuse. I always tell players that if they don't want "ruiners" to disturb their parkour, they need to get some trusted friends together and do parkour in a private battle, like all the decent parkour clubs do it. Public parkour battles are just fun games with no rules, basically "chillout rooms", and trying to do any kind of serious parkour in there is pointless waste of effort.

So let's say this "no-killing rule" is added to the main Game Rules and "sabotage" in parkour battles becomes punishable. But even then I would not agree with this kind of decision because it's basically a waste of time. A Russian moderator told me that battle mods don't kick shooters in parkour right away. Instead, they "enter the battle upon responding to a /vote report, find the reported player, observe them for a long time and then make a decision based on what they saw". I understand that this is a logical process to make sure that no honest player get kicked for shooting (e.g. if they killed someone accidentally). What bothers me is that battle mods waste their time dealing with some silly "ruiners" in parkour, instead of focusing on actual important issues like reports of hackers and sabotage in normal battles.

In a nutshell, my question is: why do you think that "violations" in parkour mode are worth spending your precious work time on, instead of dedicating it to actual battles?

Also can you answer Mafisos question, I really want to know the answer to his question (Is killing in parkour mode against the rules)

There is 2 situations for Parkour Battles that Battle_Mod looks for while spectating :

- If the complaint was on 1 or 2 player(s) who are violating battle format and bothering other players who are trying to really parkour . In this case , Battle_Mod will warn them to stop killing / bothering other players or Battle_Mod will be forced to kick them from the battle .

- If the complaint was on a group of players who are doing a drug war or ... and they are bothering 2-3 players . In this case , Battle_Mod will suggest to those 2-3 players to leave the battle and create new parkour battle

I believe you misunderstood his question. He just wanted to know if holding the flag for 9 minutes in order to prevent the enemies from capturing the flag was considered sabotaging, even if it was beneficial.

Thank you ^_^ I thought I wasn't clear! Any precise response to this case @Battle_Mod_08?

Holding the flag for 9 minutes can/can't be a sabotage , it depends . That's why i told  to send for us his video in Game Violations section , so Battle_Mod will watch the video and will give you the correct answer there !

Anyone can explain him my question in a different way? I may not be using the correct words...

let me try

Imagine the bases of both team are hard to defend because of the map specifics. Each flag is placed in a rather open ground

But then the red team has a lead by 1 flags an has an idea:

they manage to get the blue flag, they take it home to their red base, right into their own red spawn area, and do not cap. Instead they defend it in some corner that is easily defenable. Because they spawn right next to it, it is easy for them to hold the enemy flag for the rest of the game, while blue can not cap (due to the absence of their own blue flag).

Red simply locks blue out from any chance to cap, and if red could cap, they don't do it (it would return the blue flag and wuold open up the chance for blue to win a flag too).

Instead of defending their own, hard to defend flag on open terrain, they choose to steal the enemies flag and defend it in a very defensive corner, because they can choose the defense location better (the enemy flag is mobile, the own flag not).

2000mc, did I hit your intentional point?

He isn't trying to report another player, he's asking whether his actions to support his team in the best way complied with the game rules in the sense of sabotage.

He wants to know that if he held his team's flag for 9 minutes, would it be considered sabotage even though his actions led to victory for his team in the battle?

There are many cases with players that intentionally hold the flag to simply waste time and mess around to irritate and spoil the mood of other players, but he wants to know if HIS action complied with the game rules, since his action greatly benefited his team.
